[The arena wasn't anything shocking to him. In fact, the most surprising thing is the fact that these are all volunteers who get paid. Still, he didn't like the idea of fighting like a dog in a cage again — though he'll admit the arenas in Tevinter were a lot more grandiose and less...gritty.
