AREAS OF INTEREST: I'm an artist and writer living in Los Angeles. I spend an unreasonable amount of time making icons, gifs, aesthetic boards, and playlists. Sometimes I'll actually share a real piece of art.

> CHARACTER

NAME: John Murphy
CANON: The 100
JOURNAL: [personal profile] reproached
POWER: Scapegoat (Blame Incitement)
JOB: Line Cook at Red Wings
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: In the AU, Murphy was a Cardinal who got honeytrapped by Bellamy and threatened with torture by Roy Harper. He caved immediately, providing the Kestrels with information on powers, gods, and the origin of the Aerie.
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: Murphy will give the Kestrels access to the Volary, right down to the source of the Parliament's powers, where Prometheus will be waiting to greet them.
AREAS OF INTEREST: The rescue team that was tracking him down is welcome to join the confrontation with Prometheus and either get Murphy out of there or become distracted with the revelations there. I'm open to Murphy being killed either by his peers for his betrayal or by the Kestrels now that they have no use for him.
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: Murphy lives with Clarke, Bellamy, and Lexa, so anyone who hangs around their place might run into him. He's usually in the kitchen at Red Wings, but when his shift is over, he's been known to hang around and drink for… a few hours. As for the AU, he's a fairly ancient Cardinal who's been around since the Aerie was established, so he'd be a familiar face among the privileged, but he rarely interacts with the lower classes (except to harass them).
OVERALL GOALS: Murphy is constantly wrestling with morality and loyalty. I love putting him in positions that challenge him there. His #1 goal is to stay alive, and while he's learning to be less selfish, he makes bad decisions when he's scared. Now that he's an actual traitor to the Displaced (and a straight-up villain in the AU), I'm open to the consequences of his choices.
