DECEMBER CR MEME
Hi everyone! It's the end of the year already, somehow! We're glad that we've all somehow made it, despite how rough this year has been, and we hope everyone can end it on a decent note.
Without further ado,
◉ here's the December calendar, which provides a quick rundown of the month. There isn't much beyond OOC dates this month, but it's a good reference if you want to keep track of when things will be happening.
◉ The Arrival Log is up, and those who will be coming into Meadowlark's world for the first time will be waking up to a very interesting set of circumstances! Please let us know if you have any questions, and we hope you enjoy your time on the moon.
◉ The Arrival Log, plus the Quarry Log that will be taking place alongside it, are what will wrap up the year for all of us. We hope that you enjoy the plot revelations and other tidbits that you can play with, and we as a mod team are very excited for what the future of Meadowlark will hold! More about that can be found in the OOC notes at the end of each log.
◉ For a rundown of everything that's happened so far in game, check out our The Story So Far page. This guy is your big ctrl+f friend. It needs updates for the past couple months, so we'll try to get to that at some point (most likely in January).
◉ Check out our Setting Page for any ideas you might need about the world at large!
◉ We also recommend that you look over our JOBS PAGE and LOCATION PAGE to get the brain moving. As a quick note: everyone can add and create new locations for New Amsterdam (and develop other megacities)! We'll always review them and reach out to you if any changes need to be made.

POWER: augmentation! basically, he can boost someone's skill to mastery for fifteen minutes.
JOB: GOD WHO KNOWS HONESTLY
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: HE'S NEW so here's a quick summary: dick is the first robin. he used to be part of a circus troupe and was taken in by bruce wayne when his parents tragically died in front of him!!! sounds familiar. he was robin for a long time, then eventually decided to be HIS OWN MAN and took on the name nightwing instead. he's led a lot of superhero teams in the dcu, and is generally a guy most superheroes trust and respect highly. but also, his apartment is always a mess and he eats too much cereal because he's too busy superheroing to cook. he's friendly, jokey, an adrenaline junkie, but also pretty smart! and he can do sick backflips.
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: so dick is going to mostly be trying to catch up as much as possible, since much like his batdad, he's obsessive with information and details. otherwise, it'll be a lot of settling in, a lot of family drama, that kind of thing!
AREAS OF INTEREST: cr of any kind! dick is a superhero (and formerly a cop) so there's a natural avenue there for any other superhero/cop types, plus he tends to be very friendly and extroverted. he's super easy to just stroll up and talk to!
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: I CAN'T THINK OF ANY YET since things are so unusual with this arrival log/the au event, but SOON.
OVERALL GOALS:
- cr, both positive and negative, and specifically cr outside of his canon circle! he needs to expand his social circle ok it's like all superheroes normally
- if anyone wants to catch him up on the world's inequalities, that is definitely something dick will be interested in and want to help with

POWER: electrostatic disruption
JOB: bartender at red wings
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: kyna's been in the au all month, thinking she's a stylist and getting thrown into the quarry.
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: kyna is going to kill someone in the quarry, watch a lot of friends die, and then die herself, so she's going to be A Mess coming out of it. she's also going to be angry, because she's sick of being powerless and jerked around. annnd there's that whole grappling with the fact that she has a bunch of memories she now knows aren't real.
AREAS OF INTEREST: 100% full speed into the stuff they've learned with the au. she's going to throw herself totally into both mastering the powers and learning more about the gods.
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: kyna works at red wings, so that's the easiest way! generally she's a super extrovert, a total flirt, and very sarcastic/teasing. she'll be a bit more subdued after the au, though. also, if anyone wants to handwave au stuff that we haven't planned already, just let me know!
OVERALL GOALS:
- deepening current cr and new cr, always!
- more convos with magic users!
- research and training into power stuff

JOURNAL:
POWER: reactive adaptation
JOB: manager at red wings
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: bell was in the au, and went a little nuts trying to protect rey and clarke from being thrown into the quarry.
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: bellamy kidnapped murphy/is helping to break into the volary and blow it up, so... that. i'm not sure if he's going to leave the au early or not yet! after the au he'll be reeling, because of course, trying to pick up the pieces of his cr and dealing with his fake memories. a lot of his focus will be on interpersonal things.
AREAS OF INTEREST: he'll be keeping an eye on the metaplot stuff, but he'll also still be worrying about riverstone, because he doesn't think that mess is over yet.
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: it's easy to run into him at red wings! i'm also still up for handwaved au cr!
OVERALL GOALS: god, anything tbh. bellamy will be grappling with his own violent tendencies a lot after this event, so that.
