Hi everyone! It's the end of the year already, somehow! We're glad that we've all somehow made it, despite how rough this year has been, and we hope everyone can end it on a decent note.

Without further ado,

◉ here's the December calendar, which provides a quick rundown of the month. There isn't much beyond OOC dates this month, but it's a good reference if you want to keep track of when things will be happening.

◉ The Arrival Log is up, and those who will be coming into Meadowlark's world for the first time will be waking up to a very interesting set of circumstances! Please let us know if you have any questions, and we hope you enjoy your time on the moon.

◉ The Arrival Log, plus the Quarry Log that will be taking place alongside it, are what will wrap up the year for all of us. We hope that you enjoy the plot revelations and other tidbits that you can play with, and we as a mod team are very excited for what the future of Meadowlark will hold! More about that can be found in the OOC notes at the end of each log.

◉ For a rundown of everything that's happened so far in game, check out our The Story So Far page. This guy is your big ctrl+f friend. It needs updates for the past couple months, so we'll try to get to that at some point (most likely in January).

◉ Check out our Setting Page for any ideas you might need about the world at large!

◉ We also recommend that you look over our JOBS PAGE and LOCATION PAGE to get the brain moving. As a quick note: everyone can add and create new locations for New Amsterdam (and develop other megacities)! We'll always review them and reach out to you if any changes need to be made.

SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: he was prepping for the quarry while he took care of his criminal business on the side. sooort of made a promise to booker that he'll babysit nile and he is gonna play guardian angel to rey a little during the games just because of one throwaway convo with thor.
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: he's going into the quarry! kai is gonna kill sarah ren, but i'm open to him killing other people too. so if you want your character to die, let me know and he'll be more than happy to oblige. otherwise, i would love for some quarry-centric jams involving all the neat little spooky traps they have set up. those could be fun. he'll totally be willing to strike a temporary truce. 👍 kai is going to make it to the explosion and escape safely with nile, so i don't plan for him to die in the games. he might end up convening with everyone to deal with the gods quandary too.
AREAS OF INTEREST: cr!!! please come be friends with him and be stuck with him for life. you could be a participant he ends up helping out on a whim or be one of the lucky few who gets killed by him????? you could even meet him outside of the games during all the chaos.
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: yep! ota. he should be pretty well known in the au as a repeat snipe. he also has a lot of connections from his criminal dealings, so. he is prime and ready for a ton of established cr here.
OVERALL GOALS: i just want him to make friends and have fun :)
