DECEMBER CR MEME
Hi everyone! It's the end of the year already, somehow! We're glad that we've all somehow made it, despite how rough this year has been, and we hope everyone can end it on a decent note.
Without further ado,
◉ here's the December calendar, which provides a quick rundown of the month. There isn't much beyond OOC dates this month, but it's a good reference if you want to keep track of when things will be happening.
◉ The Arrival Log is up, and those who will be coming into Meadowlark's world for the first time will be waking up to a very interesting set of circumstances! Please let us know if you have any questions, and we hope you enjoy your time on the moon.
◉ The Arrival Log, plus the Quarry Log that will be taking place alongside it, are what will wrap up the year for all of us. We hope that you enjoy the plot revelations and other tidbits that you can play with, and we as a mod team are very excited for what the future of Meadowlark will hold! More about that can be found in the OOC notes at the end of each log.
◉ For a rundown of everything that's happened so far in game, check out our The Story So Far page. This guy is your big ctrl+f friend. It needs updates for the past couple months, so we'll try to get to that at some point (most likely in January).
◉ Check out our Setting Page for any ideas you might need about the world at large!
◉ We also recommend that you look over our JOBS PAGE and LOCATION PAGE to get the brain moving. As a quick note: everyone can add and create new locations for New Amsterdam (and develop other megacities)! We'll always review them and reach out to you if any changes need to be made.

JOB: he's a criminal, so i'm going to make him work for the established families/gangs in new amsterdam. perhaps something to do with smuggling or stolen goods? SyFon? if you've got a villain looking for a sidekick, hook is your guy. i want him to get into a lot of trouble.
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: n/a. he's new!
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: cr. finding a job and a home.
AREAS OF INTEREST: friends, rivals, enemies, lovers. everything. hook just lost his only chance at redemption, so he's going to be quite lost. i want to explore this and see where he ends up. right now he only cares about himself, so it'd be interesting for him to meet someone he can take under his wing. hook himself won't have a problem settling in, he's traveled to weird worlds before, so i could see him begrudgingly helping someone. in the long run relationships like these could lead to him slowly becoming a better person or just him being a terrible influence. both are good.
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: i'm a huge fan of handwaved CR, so if you want hook to have met your character, just drop me a line at any point.
- criminal circles. it's very possible he double-crossed your character at some point. yes, he's only been here for five minutes.
- drinking. flirting. if your character is a woman and hook saw them at a bar (or literally anywhere), he hit on them. it was awful.
- one-night-stands. some he even forgot. could be anyone, he's trying to get over a lot of stuff, he's not picky.
- hook's from a fairy tale land and not accustomed to modern things, so your character could catch him doing something strange and help him out/make fun of him.
- he literally never shuts up, so you can just assume he started talking to your character somewhere.
ps. if you want someone to spam your character's inbox, i volunteer! text threads are so much fun. let's just figure out some CR and Go.
OVERALL GOALS: hook's plan is to make a name for himself in the criminal circles and start building his reputation from the ground up so he can eventually get himself a crew and a ship of some sort. he wants to be free (and rich) and travel the world. pirate stuff. i'm very cr driven when it comes to rp, so i'd like him to meet a lot of people. feel free to have your characters assume there's something suspicious/annoying about him, negative cr is great.

Unquestionably. :D I'm pretty much canonblind when it comes to ouat, but from how you describe Killian, they're either going to get on like a house on fire or detest each other, lmfao
