Hi everyone! It's the end of the year already, somehow! We're glad that we've all somehow made it, despite how rough this year has been, and we hope everyone can end it on a decent note.

Without further ado,

◉ here's the December calendar, which provides a quick rundown of the month. There isn't much beyond OOC dates this month, but it's a good reference if you want to keep track of when things will be happening.

◉ The Arrival Log is up, and those who will be coming into Meadowlark's world for the first time will be waking up to a very interesting set of circumstances! Please let us know if you have any questions, and we hope you enjoy your time on the moon.

◉ The Arrival Log, plus the Quarry Log that will be taking place alongside it, are what will wrap up the year for all of us. We hope that you enjoy the plot revelations and other tidbits that you can play with, and we as a mod team are very excited for what the future of Meadowlark will hold! More about that can be found in the OOC notes at the end of each log.

◉ For a rundown of everything that's happened so far in game, check out our The Story So Far page. This guy is your big ctrl+f friend. It needs updates for the past couple months, so we'll try to get to that at some point (most likely in January).

◉ Check out our Setting Page for any ideas you might need about the world at large!

◉ We also recommend that you look over our JOBS PAGE and LOCATION PAGE to get the brain moving. As a quick note: everyone can add and create new locations for New Amsterdam (and develop other megacities)! We'll always review them and reach out to you if any changes need to be made.

NAME: Adam Parrish
CANON: The Raven Cycle
JOURNAL: scrlies
POWER: Biocommunication -- he talks to plants, currently. Kind of. Ish.
JOB: Doesn't have one, although Adam WILL be looking for a job literally as soon as they're off the moon / he finds one on the moon. He's worked p much everywhere that'd take a high schooler back home so he's got a wide experience net.
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: he was having a swell old time at home.
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: Settling in! Getting off the moon, finding a job, an apartment, figuring out what his goals will be for the time he's stuck in game.
AREAS OF INTEREST: ~~all things~~. Negative CR, positive cr. I don't really have plans for Adam yet so I'm figuring that stuff out.
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: Moon shenanigans? He won't take advantage of Jimmy's endless wallet and will be staying in whatever cruddy clothes were under the hospital bed, Adam's going to be super mad he can't find work because he's really independent and doesn't like. People just handing over money. But.
OVERALL GOALS: Adam will most likely lie out of his ass for at least a little while re: his family life, what he's been up to the last few years, etc. My (temp, for now) goal is to get him comfortable in game and a few friends he'll (eventually) open up to and trust. His canon boyfriend also arrived, so he'll be adjusting to having Ronan not accidentally pull things out of his dreams and almost kill them occasionally, so that'll be nice.
