DECEMBER CR MEME
Hi everyone! It's the end of the year already, somehow! We're glad that we've all somehow made it, despite how rough this year has been, and we hope everyone can end it on a decent note.
Without further ado,
◉ here's the December calendar, which provides a quick rundown of the month. There isn't much beyond OOC dates this month, but it's a good reference if you want to keep track of when things will be happening.
◉ The Arrival Log is up, and those who will be coming into Meadowlark's world for the first time will be waking up to a very interesting set of circumstances! Please let us know if you have any questions, and we hope you enjoy your time on the moon.
◉ The Arrival Log, plus the Quarry Log that will be taking place alongside it, are what will wrap up the year for all of us. We hope that you enjoy the plot revelations and other tidbits that you can play with, and we as a mod team are very excited for what the future of Meadowlark will hold! More about that can be found in the OOC notes at the end of each log.
◉ For a rundown of everything that's happened so far in game, check out our The Story So Far page. This guy is your big ctrl+f friend. It needs updates for the past couple months, so we'll try to get to that at some point (most likely in January).
◉ Check out our Setting Page for any ideas you might need about the world at large!
◉ We also recommend that you look over our JOBS PAGE and LOCATION PAGE to get the brain moving. As a quick note: everyone can add and create new locations for New Amsterdam (and develop other megacities)! We'll always review them and reach out to you if any changes need to be made.

SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: AU Event!! Cas was a Magpie that broke ranks and tried to help out the Kestrel, got caught (with Dean trying to help him, sry bro), and sent to Quarry. They had a tragic Quarry romance, and Dean died to save him about 2 hours before the bombs went off and everyone escaped, so. THAT SUCKED.
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: CURRENTLY STILL LOOKING FOR: A Cardinal or Rook for Cas to murder/maul once he's out of the Quarry and pissed. So if anyone wants to die fast and get back to New Amsterdam, hit me up. Otherwise, Cas isn't dying in the AU (as far as I have planned, idk, lmk if you want to kill him lol), so he'll be there until the end of the month.
AREAS OF INTEREST:

HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES:
✧ Sunpeak Botanical Gardens - he works here regularly, you can probably catch him tending flower beds, repotting things, watering stuff, etc.
✧ Urban Bird Watchers of New Amsterdam - Cas joined this club originally to get native bird info, but now he just likes taking pictures of pigeons doing weird stuff.
✧ Were You Rooting For #Destiel in the Quarry? Hit me up if you want a summary of what your character might've witnessed during Quarry time for Destiel.
✧ Did you see Dean on the whack ass New Amsterdam's Got Talent singing contest thing that happened before the AU Event? At some point during, Cas definitely murdered a drone-camera with a gardening spade, so you could've seen him doing that.
✧ Cas's Cooltalk is full of urban birds pics, and unflattering pictures of Dean Winchester that they've probably both forgotten about by now. Those were revenge-posted sometime around his first weeks here.
✧ Combat training! Cas and Lexa are hosting combat training courses for new arrivals and other Displaced, so he might've been teaching your person how to punch/murder?
OVERALL GOALS: OOC: mostly just wanting to get his powers boosted and expand on his CR, hit up the ones he already knows, maybe grab some new people? IC: Monster hunting/investigation, looking into JPG and James Henries and the mythos around the Displaced/the cult worshiping them. He'd like to take a trip to the beyul in Tibet to comb back through it and try to talk to the sherpas there.

JOB: Intern at Tactus, a weapons development company and subsidiary of Pulsar. Also, working on the side with the Hi-Jacks
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: In the AU, Roy was a Kestrel spy working at The Company as an arena designer, and helped Bellamy with the whole Murphy fiasco, where he got the deets for the info dump he posted. Still being threaded - he's helping out with the Kestrel bombs, and heading for the gods to talk to Prometheus and try to free them.
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: Probably going to be a lot of backtagging this month, honestly, Roy had a lot going on. Since he isn't dying, Roy's still in the AU until the end of the month.
AREAS OF INTEREST:
➸ Technology, computers/cyber security/hacking
➸ Superheroing, archery
➸ Weapons crafting, engineering (he has a workshop all set up), inventing, piloting/any kind fo vehicle he can get behind the wheel of

HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES:
➸ Current roomies with Loki and Thor (now: Jason, Dick and Kon), so if your person is close with them, feel free to assume they've probably met Roy
➸ Red Wings - he's working with Clarke to boost security around the Displaced, and generally likes to hang there to eavesdrop on people
➸ Weapons workshop! Roy's one of the main people capable of creating weapons right now, so if your person needs one, it's cool to handwave that they were given Roy's name, just hit up his inbox, and we can handwave the actual exchange. Just please keep scarcity in mind - he can't do anything super fancy, like a grenade launcher, and it'll be a 1 item per person thing.
➸ That Vigilante Bullshit. Roy steals Jason's ID scrambler (going to have to make his own now, weh) and goes hopping around on rooftops, beating up muggers, your typical low level shit.
➸ Pulsar/Tactus employee - if your person works for Pulsar or a subsidiary, it's fair to say they've run into each other?

OVERALL GOALS: Mostly just boosting his skill in encryption/encryption breaking, digital security, and weapons making. It'd be cool to get him certified as a pilot at some point too. I really just want to make him useful, because he's one of those people with really valuable skills that gets his feeling of purpose out of helping out and playing a support role.
