[It's sad that this guy doesn't trust cops, and yet Dick can't even blame him. What he can do though is offer the reassurance he can in this place. Everyone needs it the way this place is, and what they're facing.

Kind of like foster care. They're orphans that no one else wants to work with, and they didn't trust many. So I'm trying to help them with some friends who've helped me through some things.
