tifa lockhart | final fantasy vii remake

FOOD TRUCKS 🌠
[Since being unceremoniously dropped off in the alleyway behind the bar, it's been a whirlwind of a time. She went from a state of dizziness to confusion, and while she's cured of the former, the few answers she got from the locals didn't do much to remedy the turmoil of being thrust into an unfamiliar place with little to no recollection of how.

This isn't the first time she's come to a new place without much guidance, and Tifa's been able to find her footing before. Who's to say she can't do it again? She's managed, somehow, to figure out her way through some new day to day routines and has absorbed what information she could on New Amsterdam and what the locals have to say, so it's no surprise that she can be spotted taking in the festivities of Resolution Day. The sights and sounds are something else, and they remind her a little of home in that sad nostalgic sort of way... but here she is.

The food trucks have especially garnered her interest—the different smells that waft through the festival are enough to lure any hungry soul over, and this one sure is hungry. They're so popular, in fact, that the lines have started to meld into one another, and she's having a hard time picking out which line belongs to which truck. So, she wanders up to the end of one, and leans in to catch the attention of the person in front of her.]

Excuse me. Is this line for the Mexi-German one or the... [Her smile fades a touch when she reads the sign.] ... uh, Grasshopper salads?

[This is very important.]

FIGHT CLUB 🌠
[Curiosity had gotten the better of her, and despite the warnings she'd received from numerous sources about venturing too far from the main streets of the city, it was something she'd wanted to see with her own eyes. Saying those sorts of things could be misleading, right? How bad could it be, she wondered?

Well, as it turns out, much worse than she expected. In her mind, she imagined something akin to Sector Six, and where she ended up is almost that, except without the fancy glitz and glam that it tries to portray on the outside. On the inside? It's about the same...

The existence of a fight club is telling—it's basically the Corneo Cup except less showy, and... some of the fighters are boasting advanced tech implants that, from what she's been told, enhance their abilities beyond what humans are capable of. Tifa had no interest in participating before, and even less now, so she finds a spot on the sidelines, in the shadows and away from the lights to watch these fighters. She'd rather not participate if she can help it...

Whoever happens to be beside her at the time will be struck up for a quiet, inconspicuous conversation in between matches, although she can't seem to shake the feeling of being watched.]

Do all of them have those implants?

LIFE OF CHAOS 🌠
[She really should have just stayed near the main streets... although if she had, Tifa might not have been around to help. Hard to say which is better, especially when she's standing across from a lizard-like creature towering hundreds of metres over her, crawling up the wall of the city and tearing it to pieces in its wake. This isn't the only one either—more monsters are running amok, but this just so happens to be the closest one, because of course it is.

Not that it's going to deter her. If she didn't want to be part of the extermination effort, she would have been long gone.

The lizard's golden irises flit around the streets on the inside of the walls until it lands on a shadow—you. Seeing this, Tifa bites her lip and rushes up from the other side, sprinting for it as fast as her legs will carry her until she's several feet away, but close enough that she can now grab its attention away.]

Hey! [She shouts, and while its head remains still, its eyes flick to Tifa.] Pick on someone your own size.

[Whatever it was you were planning on doing, whether it's running or trying to find an opportunity for a hit, she's handing that opening over! Do the thing!]

WILDCARD 🌠
[ You know the drill! ]
