[ Alex can feel the moment when Heine’s displeasure rushes out towards her. Some animal instinct, just knowing that some unspoken line has been crossed and that there will be consequences if she doesn’t do something immediately. Her eyes lock onto the ground, not able to look at him. Confrontation is a thing she was never good at and she’s not well enough to give it a try now.

She nods and lets him untangle her fingers and then slides to the ground in the middle of the street. Her wrist limp in his hand. She’s not recoiling or showing any sort of attempt to move. Just doing exactly what she’s told and waiting for the results. ]


Please don’t be mad. It won't happen again.

[ Her first assumption is that it's anger. It almost always is. She wishes her hair was as long as it was so she would have at least that to hide behind. ]
