being shoved, however, is another matter entirely.
the woman catches him by surprise, not because her push does much — because it doesn't, gladio's position doesn't give an inch and it's more liable to make her step back. but because she seems distressed and this shield makes himself out to be a pretty damn good guard. whatever's bothering her will stop or it'll meet the business end of his fist, while alex gets the placating hand that raises with comforting motions between them.)
