[ It’s probably a testament to how panicked she is that she doesn’t see the mountain of the man in front of her. When she hits him, her push is about as effective as running into a brick wall, and she stumbles back, catching herself at the last moment. His tone and words have her confused, it doesn’t line up with her desperate state of mind. But it’s comforting enough that she turns her back to him to desperately search the crowd, like his presence will prevent any unexpected attack from behind. It’s safe to face away from him just for the moment.

It’s nonsense she knows, he can’t be everywhere at once, but her mind whispers that here in this world with various powers, he could very well be. She takes a step backwards, further into Gladio’s personal space. She’s tripping over her words as she speaks. ]
