NAME: Markus CANON: Detroit: Become Human CANON POINT: After jumping off of Stratford Tower and regrouping back to Jericho. POWER: Force-field manipulation! CHARACTER SUMMARY: Markus is a caretaker-turned-revoutionary android now stuck in a fleshy human body. He’s something of a walking contradiction; quiet, soft-spoken, a little introverted upon first glance. But he’s also intensely articulate, put all his points in his charisma stat, passionate about what he believes in, and is generally just a good dude who likes to paint, read, and play piano. WHAT ARE THEY UP TO?: Being So Tired. Currently brainstorming with Stephen (and likely others who will be interested!) the logistics of setting up a new safehouse. Plays piano at a fancy restaurant at night, probably busy as heck during restaurant week. Still learning how to human, though it’s far easier now than when he first arrived. GOALS: To get him more involved in the art scene (eventually), since that’s where his interest really lies. Perpetually involving himself in the plot, taking on too much as per the norm. Maybe someday he can figure out how to define himself as a person beyond the “leadership” and “robojesus” labels. JOB: He volunteers at art galleries and museums when he has the time, trying to be familiar with the NA art scene and poke around the respective social circles. As for income, he works mostly part-time as a pianist at a very classy, exclusive restaurant. He’s basically living that starving artist life and was so sheltered that he can’t… really… do much more… unless he wants to be a caretaker again and that’s a big no. No plans on changing up his job just yet! ROOMMATES: Shares an apartment with Connor. Noctis sleeps over a lot. They have an arena robot that hates him and eventually a roomba that zips around their apartment, too. CURRENT HABITS: Goes running in the morning, checks out art galleries during the day; or just returns home to paint/read/practice piano. Likes to visit new restaurants and bars to experience different kinds of food and drink. Still spends time exploring the city so he can be found, reasonably, just about anywhere.
