Ianto. That's definitely not an American name, neither is his accent an American accent. John mulls over the problem, the way the other man describes his situation (looking for someone? A contact or a friend? Or maybe neither?) and the overall bar situation.

His skin is still tingling, so after a moment of contemplation John decides 'tolerating' is better than 'making it worse' and sets the tube down beside the spray. He gestures to the bartender once he catches his eyes, gives him a wave of thanks as he retrieves the two and gestures to his empty glass.

"The bar making up for you lack of friend?" he prompts of Ianto. Maybe he'll correct him on the 'friend' label, or maybe not.
