[ They did not, no. They had wells, and tubs, and drainage, but not plumbing as Sharkface would understand it. Trevor nods his agreement at the 'that's something else,' though he's on the other side of it. The technology is fascinating and obviously very useful, but far beyond his comprehension. He wonders if everyone from the future necessarily knows how it works, or just the specific craftsmen that design and work on it. Like he wouldn't know offhand how to build a wagon or a ship, they're just things his world has. When he thinks of it like that, he doesn't feel quite so out of his depth.

And the stranger's offering to help him catch up on over a millennia, that's something too. Trevor smiles slightly, a genuine one for the first time since he's been here. ]
