[oh, hello. There's a pretty face. A smile flickers across Ginia's face as she glances at the woman, but it could easily be from the variety show she's watching. The volume is internal because she's civilized enough to respect the sanctity of not being too noisy in shared areas. It's a funny segment, asking people to draw extinct animals based on description alone. Funny and yet so sobering.

She doesn't acknowledge the woman any further. It's a waiting game of sorts. If it gets along enough, Ginia might invite her to watch, if she seems the sort. There's a tired air around the woman. It's just as likely she'll head to her room. But she's staring and Ginia can tell she's seeing what Ginia is entertaining herself with, so she continues to wait. Her finger traces through the air, dragging one card over to another. It's a throwback edition, the graphics and layout antiquated to resemble the game as it used to on ancient computers. There's even an add-on to pair with VR systems to simulate physical cards on a tabletop.

Things rooted in nostalgia, of a day when things were a bit more rosy. Or maintaining archives of the antiquated for the sake of showing people how it used to be. That's a strange similarity to her world.

Ginia glances up as the woman speaks, tilts her head slightly and gives an interested smile. Of course there is. Of course there's an opportunity for people to play at war without the risks. It's what people do with VR systems in her world, why not here too?]

Is that so? That sounds fascinating, yet scary. Did you try it?

[Ginia signs in ASL, hands fast and smooth. It's a strange comfort to be able to communicate easier, even if that comes with risks. Even if it's only possible because of the neural implant forced on everyone.]
