On your own time, sweetheart.

[ undoubtedly, juno is an essential cog in the movement; together, they're able to throw together a phalanx that'll stand modestly against the weight of the beast. if it were any larger, he knows this sort of maneuver would not work - but, he had leveraged his own strength against it back at the closet and knows, roughly, that this will work. it must work. tsera vel braces herself hard against her chosen weapon, curling low and tight against the base of it to keep it planted, at the ready, as the beast rips around the corner, golden eyes flashing, and collides with the barricade of skewers they've created together.

it works. not perfectly, but it works.

juno catches it perfectly, piercing one of its limbs in a way that causes it to falter. its weight and momentum drops it onto the pikes, the immediate thrashing of its body twisting the horrible metal trap into its flesh in mismatching directions. some of the pikes give way and slide; tsera vel works to ensure hers reaches its throat, pushing it as deeply as she can until she can hear metal click against vertebrae. there is blood, splashing across limbs and face, painting him with offal and gore and he can hear juno's sickly mutterings in the background, just a haze of noise as the beast trembles and quivers in its death throes.

he backs up, slipping and sliding on the blood spilling from their pursuant, but he does not fall.

no, instead he claps a blood-slick hand on juno's shoulder. ]
It's like you've done this before, Juno.
