AUGUST CR MEME
It's heatwave weekend, friends! Welcome to early August, welcome to Meadowlark's second anniversary, and so forth! Your arrival log is now live, and here's our usual CR meme rundown.
So, here we go!

AREAS OF INTEREST: I frankly have too many hobbies. I love video games on every platform, reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, doing screencaps for iconners, watching tons of TV, and snuggling with my four kitties. I work for a college and am basically doing three jobs now at the same time so that's fun.

NAME: Quentin ColdwaterCANON: The Magicians
JOURNAL:
POWER: Reflection manipulation
JOB: He works at Red Wings doing marketing/pr although that's hardly needed now as everyone already wants to be at Red Wings so he'll be doing other things lol.
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: Quentin did a shitton in the event! He ran around the city and hid a lot, he saved a lot of people, watched some people die, almost got possessed but used his relic, informed people of relics and monsters he saw, and helped close the New Amsterdam gate when all the madness was going on. He is very tired. Also he FINALLY FIGURED OUT HIS POWERS.
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: Two more of his friends are here which is very important to him, he'll be focused on getting them more comfortable here. He's going to be very interested in helping people in the aftermath of the event and offering resources. He also will be very intrigued by this PM person.
AREAS OF INTEREST: Quentin's been community based more recently so he'll be looking into doing more community outreach and help. Also he is the conspiracy theorist so the mystery of PM and what this all means will very much be on his mind.
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: Quentin's a nice guy and he's friendly! You might've talked to him at Red Wings or during this event where he was covered in dirt and blood so that was fun.
OVERALL GOALS: Reuniting with his friends, following the mystery, and helping others.

Hawke
> CHARACTER
NAME: Marian Hawke (just Hawke)CANON: Dragon Age
JOURNAL:
POWER: Blood Manipulation
JOB: Hawke has started working at BLOK but she is likely to be joining Morningstar soon.
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: WELL LET'S SEE. She killed a whole lot of monsters! She met some people while killing monsters! She led a fighting ring group into the fray. She used her blood bending in fighting and then Cecily and Cassandra caught her doing it, and Cassandra nearly cut her head off. Good times.
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: If all goes according to plan Hawke will be joining Morningstar. She wants to get more directly involved now that she's involved. She also is on team 'go public, fuck it' and is volunteering as tribute so. Also deepening CR and the like.
AREAS OF INTEREST: Right now Hawke's finally heard the call to be an active participant in the city rather than chilling out punching people. So figuring out her place from there will be great.
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: Hawke is very, very friendly. Super friendly. You might want to hit her friendly. Anyway she's probably chatted with your character if you want your character to chat with her.
OVERALL GOALS: Go fight win. Also everything up there plus friendship is magic.
ANYTHING ELSE:
Lexa
> CHARACTER
NAME: LexaCANON: The 100
JOURNAL:
POWER: Fire Manipulation
JOB: She does not have a job yet. She'll be mostly helping Clarke out with Red Wings right now especially in its disrepair and such.
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: Lexa showed up, found out that pretty much all of her people are dead and her planet was destroyed, did not cope with this, fought a lot of monsters, learned how to use a gun, dealt with her new friend having a slug in the brain and her love being turned into a monster, and attempted to converse with others the way people supposedly do.
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: Lexa will be interested in helping fix up the safehouses/REd Wings and being useful that way. She is trying to see this world as her new adopted land, and she believes that they'll be trying to get all their people here, so she is invested in cleaning it up and keeping it safe. Also she'll be moving in with the Hundies and deepening CR all around.
AREAS OF INTEREST: Eventually a priority is her figuring out to do with her life when it's not 100% about her people and possibly allowing herself to emote just a little bit about grief.
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: Lexa's my most introverted character so she isn't likely to strike up conversations with people. She is polite if you do talk to her though!
OVERALL GOALS: Developing more CR, opening her up a bit, finding her a new purpose.
