Let's link "September" by Earth, Wind, and Fire because we could all use some of that, huh? Welcome to September, friends. Hope you're doing okay.

So, here we go!

POWER: Mental inducement (berserking [5 minutes] and mind control [10 minutes]).

SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH:

♠ Akechi had a political post and did everything in his power to get the Displaced to back Lynch while being an asshole about it in a whole new way. His new angle is to be blunt and corrosive and a miserable person to deal with, because at least he's being real about it. He's not surprised that Lynch and Chapin ended up working side by side, even if he's a bit disappointed by the compromise.

PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH:

♠ Further developing his CR!

♠ Going to try to get him

AREAS OF INTEREST:

♠ Politics. Akechi is going to continue on a political path, even if he doesn't intend to run for office. He's more of an in the shadows type.

♠ Negative CR. Akechi's style of negative CR will change since the canon update, making it so that he'll call someone an idiot instead of implying it. I can't imagine that this will make him more friends.

♠ Conspiracies and investigations. Akechi is naturally inquisitive and good at this stuff, so he'll challenge what someone came up with and poke holes in their logic. He's a natural detective and quite good at it, though not always great at the empathy side of it. Or ever. He's never good at the empathy side of it.

HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES:

♠ Akechi is a fake Food Snob, IE he'll go out to expensive restaurants and wait in line just to try it. He actually prefers junk food and sweets.

♠ Akechi keeps up a 2512 version of a Yelp account. He is That Annoying Yelper. You know what I mean.

♠ He rides a bike everywhere he can. Is your character a bike rider? Let's have them compare bike notes.

♠ He visits Red Wings to pester Ren, who is his boyfriend. They may hold hands but they never kiss. Enjoy that knowledge.

OVERALL GOALS: Akechi has also had to hit reset on his plans a bit, so he's figuring out a new direction.
