SEPTEMBER CR MEME
Let's link "September" by Earth, Wind, and Fire because we could all use some of that, huh? Welcome to September, friends. Hope you're doing okay.
So, here we go!
◉ Here's the September calendar, which provides a quick rundown of the month.
◉ The Arrival Log is up over here! Welcome our newbies. In addition, keep in mind that there isn't a safehouse, so you might want to plot some herding of new cats.

◉ We also recommend that you look over our JOBS PAGE and LOCATION PAGE to get the brain moving. As a quick note: everyone can add and create new locations for New Amsterdam (and develop other megacities)! We'll always review them and reach out to you if any changes need to be made.

AREAS OF INTEREST: I'm an astrophysics grad student so I spend a lot of time crying about school, but I also rock climb, play video games, do some low-level music production, make graphics/crafts, etc etc. My plurk usually has self-contained contained rp and rl/misc plurks on it for easy muting.

NAME: Dr. Lance SweetsCANON: Bones
JOURNAL:
POWER: Sound/pressure wave manipulation; right now he can just make single tone noises that are usually very annoying. Good for deafening monsters though.
JOB: Still none, like a freeloader. But he's going to be helping Nate and some others with a casino adventure and score himself a decent amount of money, so he can put off the job thing for another month or two. I'm definitely open to any suggestions/plotting on this front.
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: Finished up with the monster fighting stuff, had some serious conversations with people, and then had an absolutely disastrous post. So now that he's annoyed a bunch of people, he's truly off to his usual start in a new place.
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: Now he's just even more invested in figuring things out, and will be trying to make plans and then take action to look into some outstanding mysteries. He's also trying to compile information that has been acquired over time, which involves carefully reading through old posts and is taking awhile both ic and ooc, but hopefully might result in a useful hub of info. There's also the job issue; he needs to work on that even though he has about a million hangups as to why he hasn't yet.
AREAS OF INTEREST: Metaplot is both an ic and ooc interest, so definitely that, but also Lance is interested in helping out with other Displaced's projects, concern, etc. He's very hesitant about Morningstar (see above disastrous post) but there might potentially be ways to be tangentially involved in some stuff there and I'm interested in that too.
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: Not a huge amount at the moment honestly; he's been keeping to himself a lot. He's occasionally at Red Wings, especially if Nate's working because he has to annoy him.
OVERALL GOALS: More CR! More getting involved in the metaplot! More Lance being a disaster and accidentally causing problems because that's what he does!!!
