AREAS OF INTEREST: Hi everyone!!! Seeing as I'm fresh meat, quick introduction here: I'm Erin and currently other than DWRP & MCU nonsense, my life is basically... FFXIV... and. More FFXIV. (Also, Overwatch, seeing as my character in FFXIV is a cowboy-hat wearin' Mi'qote named M'cri Nunh. Yeehaw.)

NAME: Tony Stark
CANON: Marvel Cinematic Universe
JOURNAL: industries
POWER: Bioelectricity Manipulation (which for now means powering small devices and reflexively putting up an inch-deep protective barrier around himself in life-or-death situations).
JOB: None yet, but knowing Tony, he'll try to jump over the rungs of """menial""" jobs and prove himself deserving of a position that his ~brilliance~ is ~truly qualified for~ (ha ha ha get rekt, douchebag).
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: Tony is a CRAU from Prismatica. If you're curious about what he may have gotten up to during his year there, there's a summary of his general character/relationship development on his ML app page, and a full list of all his threads from Prisma on his tracker!
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: Tony will generally be orienting himself to the new situation, as well as coming to grips with the fact that even the familiar faces here don't share any of his memories from Lunatia. So basically he'll be catching up with canonmates and comic-mates???, meeting new peeps, and developing new alliances / tentative friendships while contemplating the meaning of his continued existence in a dimension parallel to the one where he self-immolated to save the universe -- cool, cool.
AREAS OF INTEREST: This probably isn't news to anyone, but Tony's main fields of expertise are in robotics and AI programming -- which should prove real interesting in a setting where it seems AI is, like, extremely taboo and outlawed. Would love any opportunity to slam this reality into his face, or for some kind of CR to pique his interest in regards to work-arounds he might try, as well as potential severe consequences.
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: Tony's gonna be generally exploring the city (and in particular places he can get his hands on scrap and electronics), so if you'd like to handwave an initial meeting and then circle back to it later, I'm all for it! Just lemme know and we can plot.
OVERALL GOALS: Back in Prisma, Tony was constantly looking for a way to get home and untangle whatever potential conspiracy and/or powers-that-be that were keeping him and the other Moonblessed there. Now, it'll be much the same with the Displaced, where he'll be trying to help out and get some semblance of control back over his situation by trying to make an impact and help people with his not-inconsequential skillset. (Since he's a mega-protagonist in his canon, he still struggles with the fact that he can't magically be at the center of everything and fix things left and right like he does back home, so that's pretty much always an ongoing theme where I love to play with it and have him fall flat on his face. 👍👍👍)

HI it's Dee if that wasn't already obvious I don't actually know who will get along with him best yet but I'm going to figure it out. I have Hawke from DA here, Quentin from Magicians, and Lexa from The 100. Hawke and him I think would get along great so they're probably best as snarky disaster people. Quentin's basically Peter Parker aged up to mid-twenties.

hello hi erin, welcome to the game!!! so roy harper here is the kid that made most of oliver queen's tech in the early days and likes to reprogram spaceships for fun, so i'm thinking between that and vigilante life, he and tony might have some stuff they can talk about? and he's 100% ready to tell billionaire playboy philanthropist superheroes that they are not the hottest shit on the block, it's basically his relationship with ollie now.

he's also working at a weapons development company to learn this world's tech, so he'd be willing to share that stuff with tony if he seems like a dude who can be trusted with it.

Bucky actually gets along alright with his version of Tony, who like, deleted the attempted murder from his brain. He does not know why his MCU counterpart is leery of Tony Stark but assumes it's some part of the weird feud he and Steve have in every universe.

And he will be very, very confused by an Other Tony that also knows him.

OH MAN Tony had some really good CR with a pre-WS comics Bucky, so it'll be like... lots of feelings when they thread, especially because he still has all these complicated emotions tied up with the Cap & Bucky from his canon, along with kinda being protective of baby comics Bucky -- I'm SO excited to thread and just, like, destroy Tony with guilt or something, idk.

Yeah, I read the description on your journal. Bucky obviously has his own not great feelings about missing memories, which I think will be fun to tackle. (Also, "Jersey" would really thow him for a loop.)

I'd be really interested in Thor being pretty cold towards Tony (because of stuff that happened in the comics) and then realising this is a different universe Tony and getting the chance to build new CR and give him the benefit of the doubt!!

Yessss so back in Prisma Tony ended up gettin' pretty bro with MCU Thor since they were roommates and interacted a lot more one-on-one than in canon, so I'd be SUPER GOOD with turning that on its head and him having to start with, like, square one with this new and strange Thor, but still maybe have a little bit more empathy/insight into his motivations than he might have had previously... WE'LL SEE but either way, super stoked, WOO!
