BUT YEAH in that case would you like to thread them getting their initial bearings in the alley and then heading toward the bar? Or do something that takes place later and handwave the initial interaction?

I'd like to do the initial interaction, actually, since he'll naturally want to stick close to someone else going through all this fuckery at first!! we can always do something else too after a little time jump as well. BEST OF BOTH WORLDS. i'll hopefully be getting to the arrival log later today!!
