NAME: Homelander CANON: The Boys (TV) JOURNAL:laserbeams POWER: authority manipulation JOB: nothing yet, and your character probably doesn't want him as their coworker because he's a nightmare but if they do his main skills are fighting, public speaking, and having absolutely no ethics. SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: n/a PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: no concrete plans yet, I just want to get him settled in! right away he's going to be trying not to have a breakdown about his missing powers and the fact that he's not a famous superhero here, but he's eventually going to have that breakdown if you want your character to be there for that. he'll need help getting a place to stay too, and I generally just want to start building some good CR! AREAS OF INTEREST: the most pressing matter for him right now is that he basically needs to learn how to human. he was raised in a lab to be a superhero and that's literally all he knows how to do, without that he's completely lost and he's kind of a trainwreck to begin with so he won't end up anywhere good on his own. he's also lost his near-invincibility and is going to have to learn that his actions can have very bad consequences now! I am interested in getting him involved in the plot (though his exact trajectory will depend on a lot of factors) and I'm really interested in building some strong CR, positive or negative, because without his powers or vought backing him up he's going to need to actually get to know people instead of just lording over them, which is mostly uncharted territory for him and something I'm looking forward to playing with. HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: he's loud and obnoxious and wants to be up in everyone's business so if you want your character to run into him they probably can. he's doing his best to be polite and make a good impression right now but who knows how long that will last. OVERALL GOALS: his overall goal is to get back home, but his short-term goal is just to establish himself here and start to get a foothold in this world. this is the first time he'll really be "on his own" so to speak so he's a pretty big wildcard and could end up anywhere. the areas of interest section covers most of my ooc goals right now.
