'I wanna do this but my character might not' is the real struggle and I feel it. But yeah, I'm sure we can find an excuse for something! Relatedly, more low key but Lance and Nate are gonna go check out the gates/ruins in a few places in search of clues and if you were interested Sam could totally be in on that; they're not going to find anything plot important but it's ancient ruins full of puzzles which seems like a Sam thing.
