NOVEMBER CR MEME
We're well into November now, with our big end-of-year AU event coming up which will help us round out… well, maybe we can end 2020 on a good note? Stranger things have happened.
So, here we go!
◉ Here's the November calendar, which provides a quick rundown of the month.
◉ The Arrival Log is up, allowing this round of newbies to be collected and get settled right before getting whisked off into the AU along with the rest of the Displaced. Let's give them a warm welcome, and there's even a chance for one of the Displaced to become a singing sensation!
◉ On November 16th (so on Monday!) there will be a plotting post for the Battle Royale-based AU event that we'll be running through December. We know that some of you have started figuring out details about your character in the AU already, but this will provide a lot more information, and we'll have headers for people to list what "group" their character is a part of. The log for this event will go up on November 21st, so in a week! And for anyone who's brand new, you can find the original rundown for the AU over here.
◉ For a rundown of everything that's happened so far in game, check out our The Story So Far page. This guy is your big ctrl+f friend. It needs updates for the past couple months, so we'll try to get to that at some point (most likely in January to cover the big updates).
◉ Check out our Setting Page for any ideas you might need about the world at large!
◉ We also recommend that you look over our JOBS PAGE and LOCATION PAGE to get the brain moving. As a quick note: everyone can add and create new locations for New Amsterdam (and develop other megacities)! We'll always review them and reach out to you if any changes need to be made.

Hawke
> CHARACTER
NAME: Marian HawkeCANON: Dragon Age
JOURNAL:
POWER: Blood manipulation (blood magic)
JOB: She works at BLOK, a low key gym mostly for pros, and for Morningstar.
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: Hawke agreed to be one of the lab rats which caused all kinds of trouble but she lost two people she cared about and had a bit of an existential crisis over her powers. Technically this month she reported to everyone what info they got back from Riverstone, unknowingly causing a ripple effect of drama, but typical tbh.
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: In the AU she will be one of the ruling class, old old money type, with full command over her blood magic so uh watch out for the marionette y'all. She will be leaning into her shallow side. Those are vague ideas. Will have more when we have it all out.
AREAS OF INTEREST: Hawke is getting more involved with plot things now which she was sort of avoiding before. She is pretty easy to aim in directions but intentionally refusing to take any leadership roles. I generally always want more CR.
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: Hawke is VERY FRIENDLY and she's often at Red Wings. She's cheerful and cheeky and it would be immensely easy to chat with her at all times. She's fairly well known at this point as a Displaced and only vaguely pretends, but not really.
OVERALL GOALS: Bringing her out of her shell more, she's usually very good at hiding, she's extroverted so it would seem like she's not at all in hiding, but she actually is. Her real emotions and issues are all deep under the surface. her reluctance to be a leader and take any firm stances hopefully will come to a middle at some point. :)
ANYTHING ELSE:
Quentin
> CHARACTER
NAME: Quentin ColdwaterCANON: The Magicians
JOURNAL:
POWER: Reflection Manipulatio
JOB: He works at Red Wings and has been helping Marcos set up a soup kitchen.
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: Quentin had a quiet month and mostly stayed out of things for once. He paid attention to the Riverstone stuff but decided to play it safe. He just lost the love of his life (AGAIN) and one of his closest friends so he's a bit of a mess, but you know, surviving.
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: Quentin the AU will be in the working part of the higher ups, he will (theoretically for now) be an apprentice arena designer and an ambitious one at that. He likes making puzzles and trying to trap people in them. He is married to Midge ( Look at their couples' photos lol) and they're a bit of a Macbeth couple if they loved each other. He will be much more confident and collected as this other self.
AREAS OF INTEREST: Quentin's deeply interested in all the mysteries here. So this has been a delightful few days for him mentally. He loves theories and will spit them out with the best of them. He also is very interested in who is running the worshippers right now and generally is looking for distractions from heart break.
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: Quentin's a sweet guy who is generally pretty friendly and willing to answer any questions. He's been very morose lately and a little quieter than usual.
OVERALL GOALS: To continue his journey into the mysteries and to make new CR along the way. MAGIC PEOPLE UNITE. also he'll inevitably have to deal with what the AU showed him about himself so wahoo.
ANYTHING ELSE:
Lexa
> CHARACTER
NAME: LexaCANON: The 100
JOURNAL:
POWER: Fire manipulation
JOB: She works at Red Wings because her boo owns it (She hates me for saying that.) She is also working on a training regime for civilians and for the Displaced.
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: Lexa has more seriously been working on what I just said, plans for training civilians. She also has ideas for organizing the Displaced who want to learn more skills. She's a good organizer so it's her jam. She found the Riverstone thing in general very stupid and is staying out of everything thanks.
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: I believe Lexa will be a part of the rebels! She'll have a former lover Costia (bringing it back) who took the blame for her for an offense and died. She'll be more emotional or at least more normal with an actual background. More details forthcoming.
AREAS OF INTEREST: I look forward to Lexa doing more with this organizing and trying to put herself out there more. She's a very quiet person who does not know how to make friends but she's done a little better lately.
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: A lot of people could see her around Red Wings or training in the back, but she's quiet and withdrawn. I wouldn't say she's unfriendly but she's not friendly either. Alas. But if people want to talk to her, she is open to it! She's just not inclined to make small talk.
OVERALL GOALS: To get her out of her shell more, potentially deal with the devastation of her world, and learn to exist more.
