FEBRUARY CR MEME
Hey there gang, it looks like it's February, which is … right before March? How'd we hit March again? More Twitter jokes to be found here. Well, let's jump right into it.
◉ Right here is the February calendar. There's a little bit of aftermath from the Aerie in there, along with information about New Amsteram's new animal friends. Our calendar is a springboard for plots that people may be interested in, so feel free to grab something if it suits the character!
◉ That said, there are a few outstanding plots if people are interested! The Kestrels, which are an extremist rebel group, need some direction. There's the colonies (and spaaaaaaaace opportunities), as well as the Special Investigation Task Force. There are a few plots also in the works, most notably heading off to North America and Quentin's quest, involving picking up artifacts at the ruins.
◉ The Arrival Log is live! We've clarified a few things, so please check out the summary of events! This is also the time of the Insomniac's Ball, and the new head of the cult, Nirvana. There's a section to ask her questions, for anyone who's interested.
◉ And remember if you need to poke around, there's always The Story So Far page. CTRL + F to your heart's content.
◉ Check out our Setting Page which contains some updates to the colonies, the wildlife, as well as the AI section. That's not all inclusive, but you get the drift!
◉ If you need some fresh ideas, please feel free to take a look at the JOBS PAGE and LOCATION PAGE for inspiration. As a quick note: everyone can add and create new locations for New Amsterdam (and develop other megacities)! We'll always review them and reach out to you if any changes need to be made.

JOB: currently doing odd jobs as he learns about this world! eventually plan for him to become a kendo or martial arts instructor.

PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: /SLAMS HANDS ON TABLE, i wanna do some dream sharing! kisame comes from a ~magic ninja land~ that is radically different from new amsterdam. i'm interested in doing general 'check out this neat world' dreams OR heavier 'check out this neat trauma' dreams. lmk if you're in the mood for silly or serious and we'll plan something!
AREAS OF INTEREST: he's taken the first steps in getting involved with both morningstar and a welcoming committee. i plan to have him explore the world more, check out other megacities and areas outside of them. other than that, i'm playing things by ear.
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: he currently lives at the safehouse, though he's not actually there too frequently. he always (very politely) introduces himself, so i'm happy to skip past initial name exchanges and assume some familiarity. just lmk if you wanna go that route /o/

JOB: recently switched jobs to become a professional dom. certified personal trainer, so may do that as well. ~variety~
CR WANTS: gym buddies, work buddies (anyone else employed in the red light district?), characters who don't mind his quiet nature, fellow craus, characters from radically different/non-scifi worlds, characters with strong moral convictions who can kinda help where he's lacking, etc!
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: catching up with existing cr, establishing new cr, going with the flow.

HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: in the aerie: maine was a snipe and a carrion. he was a celebrity for ~10 years. best known for his brutality, hedonism, and blatant love of his power.
in the real world: maine is way more low-key. that said, he's extremely large, so he's hard to miss no matter where he is. recently, he's spent time assisting at the hospital & doing manual labor as needed — helping to clear streets and such. he's worked in the red light district for ~6 months, and he spends basically all his free time at the gym. his roommates are carolina & wash.
