NAME: Daenerys Targaryen (and all titles encompassing) CANON: A Song of Ice and Fire POWER: Dragon Physiology SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: Daenerys showed up in New Amsterdam! She was immediately confused, angry, and overwhelmed and parked her butt in the safehouse. The first two emotions have mostly subsided, but living in ~the future~ is still kind of stressing her out. She met lots of people, made some acquaintances, and found out that she??? Has a nephew??? She's still not buying that one all the way, but given the onslaught of other information and things happening, its kind of just Another One Of Those Things. Halloween is new and interesting, but ferris wheels are more new and interesting. PLANS FOR THE MONTH: - Getting involved in some Morningstar and New Amsterdam politicking. No clear path on that yet. - Event stuff, obvs - Moving out of the renfaire stage and into ~the future~ - Building up some trust with folks so she stops being so standoffish to everyone ever - Potential power things OVERALL GOALS: Daenerys' eventual goal will be to figure out who brought them there and why and to halt oppressive UNA operations by whatever means necessary. Daenerys is currently still in survival mode, so I'd like to work on weaning her off of that and into a state of "this is my life now". And since I mentioned it above, I will also say that I want to take her power stuff slow -- it's triggered by extreme emotion, and she's probably gonna freak out the first time it happens, so I'd like for her to have some people who can talk her down and make sure she doesn't stop engaging w/ folks after it happens. have you considered getting dany involved in one of the various governor campaigns? rey is discussing possible strategies around this to support morningstar rn and could rope dany in if you wanna work that angle.

alternatively, rey is always a good bean for talking ppl down from terrifying eldritch powers bc she feels that.

Yes, I was eyeballing that angle, but thought it might be too soon for her to offer real insight (given that she's still digesting the government situation). However, upon second read, I think someone bringing it to her attention and translating the terraforming situation to her would be enough if Rey would take that angle. :|a

honestly I don't fully understand the terraforming angle but I am willing to do my homework and work it out with you ooc and then icly disseminate if you're good to parse it with me
