JUNE CR MEME

> CR MEME

Happy June Larkers! Welcome to our monthly CR meme! Our June calendar is here! We have a lot of important notes regarding the app queue, the new safehouse (both IC and OOC) and the status of the upcoming arrival logs.

You're also free to use the JOB'S PAGE (to add your character's occupation!) and LOCATION PAGE to get the brain moving. Have at it and mingle!

I RE-CHECKED THE NURSE STUFF and I think we did all we could do, except for someone taking the NAFD route to get an inside look at the investigation, not the NAPD (though the NAPD is def a super cool and likely helpful route for other things, as you can see from the recent V plot!). My unprofessional opinion is that answers to this one are still out of the PCs reach, without getting their hands on the #thirdparty or getting more clout, but I could def be wrong.

Click here for Dick's plot engagement on the topic. It's a dead end, so to speak, because the nurse never existed according to all records, and the case wasn't in their jurisdiction in the first place, so officers didn't investigate it all: The NAFD forensics team took it on directly and mysterious New Beijing operatives, like the ones mentioned in the most recent arrival log, took the charred body of the nurse somewhere unknown.

If people are curious about this and want to ensure there was no stone unturned, do check the plot engagement companion thread compiling the majority of the deets. Some threads aren't linked here, like Markus' investigation into the apartment where the monster carcasses were found, but I'm pretty sure that reaffirmed the narrative of a desperate couple just trying to make bank who accidentally had their sketchy side gig burned up by a murder cover-up that released a dangerous contagion on the city. Y'know, the usual.
