Surprise, it's July! We've got some new players coming in and we're nearing cap, so it's a great time to kickstart some new CR or work on something you've already got in the works.

So, here we go!

NAME: kyna medina
CANON: original - tl;dr, kyna is from an urban fantasy setting with lots of creepy occult/cryptid/magic shit
JOURNAL: evocation
POWER: electrostatic disruption (mostly phasing rn)
JOB: bartender at red wings!
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: kyna was in the sim, which sucked a lot, so she's been trying to recover from that and dealing with her cr. she also (finally!!!) moved out of the safehouse with lance. right now she's in antarctica with dany's expedition.

PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: a lot of kyna's close cr is either messy or kind of imploding right now, and since kyna has some fun baggage, that's probably going to fuck her up. she'll probably retreat more into trying to improve her control of her powers/digging into the gates/not thinking about people at all! thank you! and also she'll probably generally be more easy to annoy and more impulsive. IT'S FINE IT'S ALL FINE.

AREAS OF INTEREST: kyna's magic was taken from her when she got here, so she's very focused on anything that could possibly be related to that (so the gates, the blue glow, ball's cult, etc.) she's also really interested in the weird creatures they found in antarctica.

HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: kyna works at red wings, so that's the easiest place to find her! she also still visits the safehouse a lot, so feel free to say your character recognizes her from there.

OVERALL GOALS: my main goals with kyna right now are 1.) getting her to stop hinging her self-worth so much on her magic and focusing on her other skills, and 2.) opening up to people more and realizing that not everyone is going to ditch her at the first opportunity. basically, i'd like her to form a found family situation here, which she's working toward but will get knocked back down the ladder a bit this month. she desperately wants to open up to people but is also terrified to. kyna is also a Lot, so i'm always open to negative cr, slowburn cr, that kind of thing.
