Surprise, it's July! We've got some new players coming in and we're nearing cap, so it's a great time to kickstart some new CR or work on something you've already got in the works.

So, here we go!

AREAS OF INTEREST: My character list is over here.
- Fandoms are Critical Role, Wynonna Earp, The Magicians, Orphan Black, and my bullshit ocs. Gaming wise I mostly replay the first Tomb Raider of the reboot, while buying other games and saying I need to play them.
- History!!! I have Audible and most of my library are Great Courses series on different historical areas that I am working through :')
- I do art! I haven't done anything the last month or so bc life, but I have an art insta over at artsandwollstonecrafts.

I really want to learn Spanish and German and Danish and Japanese and Hindi. I... have not really made progress in any of these things.

NAME: Sarissa Theron

JOURNAL: magnitudes
POWER: Pyrotechnics - sort of like fire generation or manipulation, but instead of breathing fire or producing fire from her hands, its fireworks/brightly coloured energy that burns at a high temperature.
JOB: None presently. Thinking of her maybe becoming a very very part time grocery store gig to maintain a thin veil of respectability.
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: N/A but here is her application if you so desire.
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: Fights in and out of the pit, haunting museums and galleries, trying to begin Robin Hood type antics.
AREAS OF INTEREST:
- Robin Hood nonsense / vigilante bullshit
- illegal fight ring
- opportunities for her to be antagonistic/obnoxious/herself
- having emotions in art galleries and about ALL THE ART AND CULTURE THAT HAS BEEN LOOOOOST
- indulging her self destructive tendencies and then having her grow past those
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES:
- drowning sorrows in a sleazy bar
- brawling in a sleazy bar
- scraping Sarissa off the floor of a sleazy bar
OVERALL GOALS: I'm HYPE TO BE HERE. VERY HYPE. For now my hope is to lean into Sarissa's negative traits and exploring those, and gradually starting to expose her gentle marshmallow centre. She's pretty full on, and some of the options I have tossed here are really playing on that and the likelihood of her self-destructing for her initial stretch of time here, but I'm also super keen to build into other stuff.
In the longer term I'd like her to try and find the balance between her self-protective dickery and her idealism.
