OCTOBER CR MEME
It's October and that means it's time for some spoopy stuff. Hope you like some groovy electro swing!
So, here we go!
◉ Here's the October calendar, which provides a quick rundown of the month.
◉ The Arrival Log will be going up tomorrow! It's going to involve a cybernetic modifications festival that's held in the underground tunnel part of New Amsterdam, as a call back to the third arrival log from way back when! It will, of course, also be the means of welcoming newbies. In addition, keep in mind that the safehouses still aren't in good enough shape to house anyone, so this group of newbies will need some help with where to sleep.
◉ On October 14th there will be a plotting post for the mini-event that was triggered by Riverstone making contact about performing tests on the Displaced, as discussed here and here. The log for this mini-event will go up on October 17th!
◉ For a rundown of everything that's happened so far in game, check out our The Story So Far page. This guy is your big ctrl+f friend. It hasn't been updated with the 25th arrival log, but that'll be done soon!
◉ Check out our Setting Page for any ideas you might need about the world at large!
◉ We also recommend that you look over our JOBS PAGE and LOCATION PAGE to get the brain moving. As a quick note: everyone can add and create new locations for New Amsterdam (and develop other megacities)! We'll always review them and reach out to you if any changes need to be made.

POWER: Life steal (can cause pain, heal herself, and heal others, either from her own life source or by stealing it from other people and passing it on).
JOB: Clarke's full time job is running Red Wings with Stephen Strange.
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: Clarke had the following happen:
→ Big Plan Proposal: Clarke and Stephen put up their big proposal for things for the Displaced. This is here if you'd like to take a look!
→ Being Mean and Controlling to Rey: This is all over Rey's posts.
→ Suppressing Her Pain: She was grieving, now she's mysteriously "OK." But is Clarke really ever okay?
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: Clarke has a plan to go into Riverstone and murder some folks, but there is a solid chance that this is going to be shut down because it's a Bad Idea.
AREAS OF INTEREST:
→ Leadership and long-term role: Clarke has been with the game since the beginning. She's been through all of the events (though one she sat out and heard about second hand). She also spearheads the bar with Stephen, so there will be areas there where she is people's boss. Clarke is very people-oriented and will help someone figure out what direction they may need in the world if they're feeling a little lost. If your character needs someone to boss them around, Clarke is their gal.
→ Red Wings: Clarke and Stephen Strange both run the bar! You can see the information on this here. While Clarke wasn't always present in the early Red Wings months, she is present most of the time now.
→ Medical stuff: Clarke can bandage someone up and I can pretend I know a single lick of anything about medicine. I don't. But good news: neither do the writers on The 100.
→ Delegating: Clarke is good at giving other people things to do, so if your character needs a project, she can help. She ... also loves telling people what to do, but I'm happy to have Clarke do what she can to help get your character moving if that's something you need!
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES:
→ Medical things! If the thread is just a quick patch up, we can easily handwave this. However, I am totally down for some hurt/comfort if you don't expect me to pay like any attention to the actual medical part of it.
→ Oldbie! Being here since day one, Clarke can help with knowing if someone else's CR has been around before, as long as they've been on the network.
→ Red Wings! If your character works at Red Wings, they know who Clarke is! She is their boss. She has been around a lot more since after the simulation (this was May OOC), so she is a permanent fixture there. She helps with food prep in the morning, and does scheduling. If you'd like to work out someone's dynamic with Clarke, let me know.
OVERALL GOALS: Working toward Clarke either breaking down or pulling her shit together, so stay tuned. She has a support system here more than she does in canon because she doesn't just walk away and insist it's for the good of everyone, because no one lets her get away with that shit.

POWER: Mental inducement (berserking [5 minutes] and mind control [10 minutes]).
JOB: I need to put in a plot engagement for him to work at City Hall.
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH:
♠ I took it easy with Akechi in September, but I'm throwing him into the mini-event. He's been all over those posts being an asshole.
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH:
♠ Plot engagement to work at City Hall.
♠ Contacting Cassius about some things related to the UNA, as well as how they're managing without Judas.
♠ Mini-event heist plans with Ren. I might have him reach out to Ren's other connections to shape a plan, since he doesn't think Ren can come up with a focused plan on his own. (And this is in a more "this is more me shoring up his weaknesses" than "I'm an asshole being mean to my boyfriend.") So, if you've been roped into this, expect an Akechi soon.
AREAS OF INTEREST:
♠ Politics. Akechi is going to continue on a political path, even if he doesn't intend to run for office. He's more of an in the shadows type.
♠ Negative CR. Want negative CR? Akechi defaults to this with everyone. Even a civil conversation is likely to turn into something negative if Akechi decides he wants to win.
♠ Challenging Others. Akechi likes to challenge what someone came up with and poke holes in their logic. He's a natural detective and quite good at it, though not always great at the empathy side of it. Or ever. He's never good at the empathy side of it.
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES:
♠ Akechi is a fake Food Snob, IE he'll go out to expensive restaurants and wait in line just to try it. He actually prefers junk food and sweets.
♠ Akechi keeps up a 2512 version of a Yelp account. He is That Annoying Yelper. You know what I mean.
♠ He rides a bike everywhere he can. Is your character a bike rider? Let's have them compare bike notes.
♠ He visits Red Wings to pester Ren, who is his boyfriend. They may hold hands but they never kiss. Enjoy that knowledge.
OVERALL GOALS: Politics and figuring out his future.

JOB: I'm planning on getting him a job as a bartender. It's his usual fallback. I won't be having him work at Red Wings.
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: Nothing much, seeing as he wasn't here yet. Being missed by Dean and Castiel, probably.
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: Settling in! Reading Sweets' long ass document.
Also? Missing his beautiful hair.
AREAS OF INTEREST: My primary goal for Sam is to dig into a lot of the lore and mythology in the world! If your character has gotten started on that, hit me up! This is cult stuff, the symbols, and the gates. I'd like to have him out at the gates ASAP, so that's a trip he'd be making in the future.
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES:
FITNESS: Sam is a dude who goes on runs and works out semi-regularly! He'll go for jogs around the city, as well as work out at a gym. He has to keep up his shape, especially since no one knows how long it's been since he last worked out. What if his muscles are atrophied? What if he looks slightly less buff under his six shirts?
THE DEAN AND CASTIEL CONNECTION: Sam is obviously Dean's brother. And Castiel is his buddy.
OVERALL GOALS: My main goal is to have someone who's a little more intellectually inclined to discuss lore, mythology, and go digging into those things. Akechi is a smart kid, but he's kind of a dick and dislikes … everyone … so having someone to balance Clarke's controlling and Akechi's off putting behavior. I also wanted to play with the different angles on the world's mythology. So, you know. Goals!
