OCTOBER CR MEME
It's October and that means it's time for some spoopy stuff. Hope you like some groovy electro swing!
So, here we go!
◉ Here's the October calendar, which provides a quick rundown of the month.
◉ The Arrival Log will be going up tomorrow! It's going to involve a cybernetic modifications festival that's held in the underground tunnel part of New Amsterdam, as a call back to the third arrival log from way back when! It will, of course, also be the means of welcoming newbies. In addition, keep in mind that the safehouses still aren't in good enough shape to house anyone, so this group of newbies will need some help with where to sleep.
◉ On October 14th there will be a plotting post for the mini-event that was triggered by Riverstone making contact about performing tests on the Displaced, as discussed here and here. The log for this mini-event will go up on October 17th!
◉ For a rundown of everything that's happened so far in game, check out our The Story So Far page. This guy is your big ctrl+f friend. It hasn't been updated with the 25th arrival log, but that'll be done soon!
◉ Check out our Setting Page for any ideas you might need about the world at large!
◉ We also recommend that you look over our JOBS PAGE and LOCATION PAGE to get the brain moving. As a quick note: everyone can add and create new locations for New Amsterdam (and develop other megacities)! We'll always review them and reach out to you if any changes need to be made.

POWER: Bloodbending/manipulation/magic
JOB: Hawke is in the fighting rings, at BLOK, and with Morningstar although that's new.
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: Hawke's dealt with two fresh losses with Cecily and Fenris, and the trauma of her new super power still weighing on her. She's joined Morningstar but I've been bad about making her do things so I will change that. She's sort of wrapped up her grief and anxiety into voluntarily doing the Riverstone thing and just pretending she's just being reckless and stupid for no reason.
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: One of her besties is showing up but she is not one of the besties who keeps her from doing stupid things so. She'll be definitely still doing the Riverstoe thing although she hasn't actually explained to anyone her reasons for it. She really was hoping to go solo but accepts it's not happening now.
AREAS OF INTEREST: I'm looking forward to this mini-plot! I'm always interested in new CR or developing the great stuff I already have
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: Hawke is VERY VERY FRIENDLY. She would've started chattering at someone at Red Wings or if they're in the fighting rings or anywhere else. She's chipper and warm and pretty easy to chat with.
OVERALL GOALS: Keeping with everything going on right now and just doing more really. She's a reckless person so we'll see how this thing goes down lol.

I have never played last of us because I'm very scared of watching zombies but I know all of it through let's plays! I'm excited to play against her.

Ahh, I'm glad! I've played all the DA games and DA2 was my favorite because of Hawke and all of the companions, so I'm stoked

Quentin Coldwater

NAME: Quentin ColdwaterCANON: The Magicians
JOURNAL:
POWER: Reflection manipulation
JOB: He works at Red Wings and he's been working with Marcos with the new soup kitchen project.
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: Quentin mostly chilled and did his side projects and enjoyed the quiet for what it was lol. BRIEF. He's very concerned about Rey's plan and has volunteered to help the rescue group but we'll see what happens. He made the skills sheet for people to add if they want.
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: We'll see what develops with the Rey plot, but he didn't volunteer for it. He'll just worry in the corner and offer his help for rescue, although with people being allowed to go with that makes it easier! He's hoping to learn more about how to train powers within dreams, which he's been working on for Maine.
AREAS OF INTEREST: Quentin continues to be deeply interested in the mysteries of this place. He has a lot of mental information about the gates, the cult, the theoretics of this place, that's his jam. He's currently trying to get better at his powers, which he's doing well at.
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: Quentin's also friendly although a little more shy and nervous than Hawke. But he is open to conversation and very eager to please/have convos with. He works at Red Wings and generally is a mensch.
OVERALL GOALS: Continuing his delving into mysteries and he's CURIOUS about the result of Rey's plan just not directly involved.
ANYTHING ELSE:
Lexa
> CHARACTER
NAME: LexaCANON: The 100
JOURNAL:
POWER: Fire manipulation
JOB: She helps out at Red Wings but she is mostly spending her time figuring out escape routes and planning for training things for people.
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: Lexa was delighted to have a purpose (not that her delight ever shows, she's chill) and she's been working hard at making plans for training the civilians, and also has some ideas she talked with Natasha about for training the Displaced too. She went on some trips with Castiel and Dean to figure out some tunnel escape/city escape options, and will be hopefully working with Cassian too on that! She's also not handling well that the Hundies are probably going to do stupid shit.
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: Continuing on her plans for training and for an escape map of sorts, it's something she enjoys focusing on. I'm not sure what she'll be doing with all the Riverstone stuff outside of being against it but watchful. Eventually she might snap because she's actually HIGHLY in mental disarray and damaged right now but not showing any of it. So maybe some day that will come out. I'll be doing a dream post soon for her.
AREAS OF INTEREST: Making more CR with her since she's a quiet person and not as open. Anyone who likes fighting or organizing holler at her, she's only 85% as intimidating as she seems.
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: If your chars are like above, all for it! Lexa is a bit distant but she's not against talking with people, she's just not likely to walk up and talk to them unless there's a purpose.
OVERALL GOALS: Eventually stronger CR across the board and also for her to eventually snap so she can express what she's going through and maybe ???? be healthier for it??? who knows
