It's October and that means it's time for some spoopy stuff. Hope you like some groovy electro swing!

So, here we go!

◉ Here's the October calendar, which provides a quick rundown of the month.

◉ The Arrival Log will be going up tomorrow! It's going to involve a cybernetic modifications festival that's held in the underground tunnel part of New Amsterdam, as a call back to the third arrival log from way back when! It will, of course, also be the means of welcoming newbies. In addition, keep in mind that the safehouses still aren't in good enough shape to house anyone, so this group of newbies will need some help with where to sleep.

◉ On October 14th there will be a plotting post for the mini-event that was triggered by Riverstone making contact about performing tests on the Displaced, as discussed here and here. The log for this mini-event will go up on October 17th!

◉ For a rundown of everything that's happened so far in game, check out our The Story So Far page. This guy is your big ctrl+f friend. It hasn't been updated with the 25th arrival log, but that'll be done soon!

◉ Check out our Setting Page for any ideas you might need about the world at large!

◉ We also recommend that you look over our JOBS PAGE and LOCATION PAGE to get the brain moving. As a quick note: everyone can add and create new locations for New Amsterdam (and develop other megacities)! We'll always review them and reach out to you if any changes need to be made.

Bellamy Blake | The 100

POWER: Reactive adaptation - right now, he can make a shield.
JOB: Supervisor at Red Wings!
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: Bellamy had a happy two seconds last month with the festival and then got yanked into the Riverstone testing stuff, which is dredging up a lot of trauma and old guilt/grief for him.
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: Basically, figure out a way to lessen the damage of this Riverstone crap as much as possible, because he's convinced it's going to go badly. I'm sure Murphy's plans will also come up at some point and that will be a mess.
AREAS OF INTEREST: Anything that involves Clarke and Murphy is a good way to pull him in. He's kind of a perpetual helper, so if someone is in a bind, he'll usually try to pitch in. Riverstone is his main priority right now, though!
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: Red Wings is the easiest! He also shows up for every new arrival batch and was pretty active during the sim/monster events, so feel free to say your character ran into him there.
OVERALL GOALS: More CR always! Bellamy tends to get super attached to people for better or worse, and I love playing with that. Also, this Riverstone stuff is going to push him into some of his worst habits re: protecting "his people", and I'm always looking for opportunities to play with that or allow that to cause conflict. Plus, I've got a dream log up for him, so if you want something there, lmk!

POWER: Electrostatic disruption - she can go intangible and create little static electricity bursts
JOB: Bartender/trainer at Red Wings!
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: Kyna had a canon update! She dealt with a lot of bullshit back home re: demons/possession and is still dealing with it. It sucks! She's also working through her fears of getting close to people.
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: Working through some of her stuff from her canon update, plus being pulled into the Riverstone deal. She's super nervous about it but doesn't really know what to think, and she'll likely be helping Ren out with his heist plans (and probably not tell anyone about it).
AREAS OF INTEREST: Dreams! Power stuff! Deepening CR! Magic!
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: Kyna works at Red Wings a lot, and she's a chatterbox so she probably bugs everyone.
OVERALL GOALS: I'm always looking for opportunities for her to learn more non-magical combat skills, and work through her loss of magic generally.
