It's October and that means it's time for some spoopy stuff. Hope you like some groovy electro swing!

So, here we go!

◉ Here's the October calendar, which provides a quick rundown of the month.

◉ The Arrival Log will be going up tomorrow! It's going to involve a cybernetic modifications festival that's held in the underground tunnel part of New Amsterdam, as a call back to the third arrival log from way back when! It will, of course, also be the means of welcoming newbies. In addition, keep in mind that the safehouses still aren't in good enough shape to house anyone, so this group of newbies will need some help with where to sleep.

◉ On October 14th there will be a plotting post for the mini-event that was triggered by Riverstone making contact about performing tests on the Displaced, as discussed here and here. The log for this mini-event will go up on October 17th!

◉ For a rundown of everything that's happened so far in game, check out our The Story So Far page. This guy is your big ctrl+f friend. It hasn't been updated with the 25th arrival log, but that'll be done soon!

◉ Check out our Setting Page for any ideas you might need about the world at large!

◉ We also recommend that you look over our JOBS PAGE and LOCATION PAGE to get the brain moving. As a quick note: everyone can add and create new locations for New Amsterdam (and develop other megacities)! We'll always review them and reach out to you if any changes need to be made.

NAME: penny adiyodi
CANON: the magicians
JOURNAL: delayable
POWER: emotional attacks
JOB: i really do need to get penny a job. he's not going to want something where he sits behind a desk but i might get him something he hates anyway because it's funny. but this will be a goal this month.
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: penny really just settled in, got drunk, acted a fool, slept on quentin's couch and tried to figure out his power. he still hasn't figured it out yet but he's getting there. maybe, possibly.
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: get penny the aforementioned job and maybe try and get him more involved in the metaplot. he's a little tired of getting involved in big arcs after his canon and all but he wouldn't just sit by and watch things happen. he wants to make sure another god doesn't shit somewhere important.
AREAS OF INTEREST: magic, of course, but i want to open up his areas of interests too. he's been intrigued by some of the things he's seen at the festivals, the gates, that kind of thing but nothing too deep yet.
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: penny mostly hangs around the magicians crew because that's where he feels comfortable but he does go out and drink a lot. he likes drinking, he likes drugs, and he likes not dying so he's kind of trying to live it up until he settles and gets involved.
OVERALL GOALS: he needs a job and i want him to reluctantly get involved in shit because that's how it goes for him. so, if you have an in where he can fall into things like testing for riverstone or something, please let me know.
