It's October and that means it's time for some spoopy stuff. Hope you like some groovy electro swing!

So, here we go!

◉ Here's the October calendar, which provides a quick rundown of the month.

◉ The Arrival Log will be going up tomorrow! It's going to involve a cybernetic modifications festival that's held in the underground tunnel part of New Amsterdam, as a call back to the third arrival log from way back when! It will, of course, also be the means of welcoming newbies. In addition, keep in mind that the safehouses still aren't in good enough shape to house anyone, so this group of newbies will need some help with where to sleep.

◉ On October 14th there will be a plotting post for the mini-event that was triggered by Riverstone making contact about performing tests on the Displaced, as discussed here and here. The log for this mini-event will go up on October 17th!

◉ For a rundown of everything that's happened so far in game, check out our The Story So Far page. This guy is your big ctrl+f friend. It hasn't been updated with the 25th arrival log, but that'll be done soon!

◉ Check out our Setting Page for any ideas you might need about the world at large!

◉ We also recommend that you look over our JOBS PAGE and LOCATION PAGE to get the brain moving. As a quick note: everyone can add and create new locations for New Amsterdam (and develop other megacities)! We'll always review them and reach out to you if any changes need to be made.

NAME: marcos diaz
CANON: the gifted
JOURNAL: heliophilous
POWER: fear manipulation
JOB: marcos is a lab tech with pulsar but he's also working on getting a soup kitchen/safe space set up for those in the city that can't help themselves/need help/have been affected by one of the various crises that have occurred. so, he's not really focused on moving up at pulsar.
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: his big goal has been finding a spot for his soup kitchen, recruiting volunteers, crowdfunding ideas on what he's going to need to do to get things up and running.
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: second verse, same as the first. he's going to be working hard on the soup kitchen and while keeping an eye on the goings on with the riverstone testing. he's already done some drug trials so not sure if he's going to get involved but he's keeping an eye on it.
AREAS OF INTEREST: he's interested in the gates, in helping those that are less fortunate, interested in some areas of politics and trying to figure out where they came from and how they can leave and come back sometimes.
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: he's out and about in the town a lot. he spends time in the red light district and other areas that are more run down than others. he's a member of morningstar so you might have heard his name through there. he's not a huge party animal but he'll go out for a drink every so often too.
OVERALL GOALS: he's just going to continue on his path of helping those who need the help but i also want to get him a little more involved in maybe the political side of things too since he's got leadership abilities and all and he wants to change the city for the good since he's been here awhile.
