It's October and that means it's time for some spoopy stuff. Hope you like some groovy electro swing!

So, here we go!

◉ Here's the October calendar, which provides a quick rundown of the month.

◉ The Arrival Log will be going up tomorrow! It's going to involve a cybernetic modifications festival that's held in the underground tunnel part of New Amsterdam, as a call back to the third arrival log from way back when! It will, of course, also be the means of welcoming newbies. In addition, keep in mind that the safehouses still aren't in good enough shape to house anyone, so this group of newbies will need some help with where to sleep.

◉ On October 14th there will be a plotting post for the mini-event that was triggered by Riverstone making contact about performing tests on the Displaced, as discussed here and here. The log for this mini-event will go up on October 17th!

◉ For a rundown of everything that's happened so far in game, check out our The Story So Far page. This guy is your big ctrl+f friend. It hasn't been updated with the 25th arrival log, but that'll be done soon!

◉ Check out our Setting Page for any ideas you might need about the world at large!

◉ We also recommend that you look over our JOBS PAGE and LOCATION PAGE to get the brain moving. As a quick note: everyone can add and create new locations for New Amsterdam (and develop other megacities)! We'll always review them and reach out to you if any changes need to be made.

Is Lance dealing with the Riverstone thing? That might be a place for them to Work Wearily Together, haha.

He's kind of fringe dealing with stuff; he's helping Ian look over legal stuff, and is trying to make sure everyone involved is accounted for and aware of risks and all that, though he himself isn't quite directly involved. Part of him feels like he should go as an observer or something just to be backup, but the rest of him is like no, don't go anywhere near something like that, but it's still kind of up in the air so maybe something could work out there. c:

And I really want Sam to go, because it sounds like a fun excusion, but I've got to find a way to make him want to go, lmao. If it doesn't work out, though, there's still the arrival log to consider, or maybe some mob nonsense.

'I wanna do this but my character might not' is the real struggle and I feel it. But yeah, I'm sure we can find an excuse for something! Relatedly, more low key but Lance and Nate are gonna go check out the gates/ruins in a few places in search of clues and if you were interested Sam could totally be in on that; they're not going to find anything plot important but it's ancient ruins full of puzzles which seems like a Sam thing.
