It's October and that means it's time for some spoopy stuff. Hope you like some groovy electro swing!

So, here we go!

◉ Here's the October calendar, which provides a quick rundown of the month.

◉ The Arrival Log will be going up tomorrow! It's going to involve a cybernetic modifications festival that's held in the underground tunnel part of New Amsterdam, as a call back to the third arrival log from way back when! It will, of course, also be the means of welcoming newbies. In addition, keep in mind that the safehouses still aren't in good enough shape to house anyone, so this group of newbies will need some help with where to sleep.

◉ On October 14th there will be a plotting post for the mini-event that was triggered by Riverstone making contact about performing tests on the Displaced, as discussed here and here. The log for this mini-event will go up on October 17th!

◉ For a rundown of everything that's happened so far in game, check out our The Story So Far page. This guy is your big ctrl+f friend. It hasn't been updated with the 25th arrival log, but that'll be done soon!

◉ Check out our Setting Page for any ideas you might need about the world at large!

◉ We also recommend that you look over our JOBS PAGE and LOCATION PAGE to get the brain moving. As a quick note: everyone can add and create new locations for New Amsterdam (and develop other megacities)! We'll always review them and reach out to you if any changes need to be made.

SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: Cas got involved in some projects - the training program, exploring the tunnels for evacuation routes and monster transport, working on translating parts of the bestiary from dean-speak.
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: continuing with city aid projects and furthering his cr. sam! is! here!! cas isn't participating in the riverstone tests but might do some creeping around them.
AREAS OF INTEREST: monster/the supernatural, anything involving Dean or Sam probably, religious/theological influences on this world (or others, he's usually down to listen), bIRDS?? yeah he's researching birds now because of this spinetail-meadowlark connection thing, Killing God, emotional nuance is really interesting to him as well and he isn't afraid of the empathy bond at all, magic, uuhhh, angels? angels. oh, other ancient people. dude is over 400 million years old, everyone here is a baby to him.
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: Castiel has joined the local bird watchers club. Catch him snapping pictures of pigeons trying to mind their own business. You can find him bumming around Red Wings or strolling through the more scenic parts of the city. If your person spends time around Dean there's a good chance they've met Cas. He's also helping Lexa out with the training program being set up, so if you're involved in that, he's been there.
OVERALL GOALS: Aaah none specifically right now, aside from continuing his involvement in the training/evac stuff and the monster investigating. Expanding CR, acquiring him some people to care grossly about?
