DECEMBER CR MEME
Hi everyone! It's the end of the year already, somehow! We're glad that we've all somehow made it, despite how rough this year has been, and we hope everyone can end it on a decent note.
Without further ado,
◉ here's the December calendar, which provides a quick rundown of the month. There isn't much beyond OOC dates this month, but it's a good reference if you want to keep track of when things will be happening.
◉ The Arrival Log is up, and those who will be coming into Meadowlark's world for the first time will be waking up to a very interesting set of circumstances! Please let us know if you have any questions, and we hope you enjoy your time on the moon.
◉ The Arrival Log, plus the Quarry Log that will be taking place alongside it, are what will wrap up the year for all of us. We hope that you enjoy the plot revelations and other tidbits that you can play with, and we as a mod team are very excited for what the future of Meadowlark will hold! More about that can be found in the OOC notes at the end of each log.
◉ For a rundown of everything that's happened so far in game, check out our The Story So Far page. This guy is your big ctrl+f friend. It needs updates for the past couple months, so we'll try to get to that at some point (most likely in January).
◉ Check out our Setting Page for any ideas you might need about the world at large!
◉ We also recommend that you look over our JOBS PAGE and LOCATION PAGE to get the brain moving. As a quick note: everyone can add and create new locations for New Amsterdam (and develop other megacities)! We'll always review them and reach out to you if any changes need to be made.

AREAS OF INTEREST: My plurk's a mess of memes, rl bitching, cooking/baking (not much ice-cream making atm), pirate stuff, and books/comics. I love the detritus of history, especially when it's terrible (let's talk about aspics), and have two cats. I prefer to keep my plurk list small/limited to people who are interested in interacting ooc, so while you're welcome to friend, please don't feel like you have to just for plotting stuff--my PPs are always open, and I'm happy to discuss things wherever.

JOB: IN THE AU he's an agent for his
brothercousin nathan drake. OUTSIDE THE AU, he tends bar and runs tables for a casino. he'll take interesting one-off gigs as they come up, especially if they involve danger and new places.SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: was a shyster agent in a dystopian AU, as you do. schmoozed a lot, flirted a little, got in some sticky situations, was concerned to varying degrees about wade and kyna quarry-ing.
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: sam'll be watching this month's quarry with Great Interest and then probably poking around in the parts of the volary he's normally not supposed to be in. you know, sam things.
AREAS OF INTEREST:
• i'm really enjoying the cr he's making, and i'd love to keep working on what he's got and keep building more. especially interested in characters who aren't particularly close with his brother, because he needs to go out and make his own friends!!!
• if your character would sleep with him, please advise and let's make that happen, lmfao. samuel drake: open for one-night stands and potential fwb with beautiful women who are interested in him. especially if you want to deal with him not calling after, lmfao.
• if your character would NOT sleep with him but would flirt endlessly with him, please also advise. generally only interested in flirting with women, flirting with men would require longterm cr goals, lmao.
• i love: arguments, interpersonal drama, complicated CR, tension (positive or negative) in what would otherwise be mundane settings, and the occasional bit of actiony nonsense. i am less your best bet for curtain-shopping levels of slice of life.
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: in the AU, sam does a lot of glad-handing with people who might be Worth Knowing, works with others in the company. drinks at congregation bars. wears loud suits. i'm v. into "they knew each other in the AU and now they gotta re-meet in the real world" as a thing.
outside the AU, sam works at a casino, bums around red wings and a variety of other bars, and lives in the same apartment as nathan drake and wade wilson. beyond that, it's reasonable to have seen/encountered him on the underground fighting circuit, in the red-light district, wandering around rooftops, climbing buildings, fucking around on the network, and anywhere a party's happening. if you want to handwave any of these possibilities, please just lmk first.
OVERALL GOALS: get sam to be less of a selfish dick? sam's goals are, generally, to get paid, get laid, and do something incredible.
