Hi everyone! It's the end of the year already, somehow! We're glad that we've all somehow made it, despite how rough this year has been, and we hope everyone can end it on a decent note.

Without further ado,

◉ here's the December calendar, which provides a quick rundown of the month. There isn't much beyond OOC dates this month, but it's a good reference if you want to keep track of when things will be happening.

◉ The Arrival Log is up, and those who will be coming into Meadowlark's world for the first time will be waking up to a very interesting set of circumstances! Please let us know if you have any questions, and we hope you enjoy your time on the moon.

◉ The Arrival Log, plus the Quarry Log that will be taking place alongside it, are what will wrap up the year for all of us. We hope that you enjoy the plot revelations and other tidbits that you can play with, and we as a mod team are very excited for what the future of Meadowlark will hold! More about that can be found in the OOC notes at the end of each log.

◉ For a rundown of everything that's happened so far in game, check out our The Story So Far page. This guy is your big ctrl+f friend. It needs updates for the past couple months, so we'll try to get to that at some point (most likely in January).

◉ Check out our Setting Page for any ideas you might need about the world at large!

◉ We also recommend that you look over our JOBS PAGE and LOCATION PAGE to get the brain moving. As a quick note: everyone can add and create new locations for New Amsterdam (and develop other megacities)! We'll always review them and reach out to you if any changes need to be made.

AREAS OF INTEREST: My life has been consumed by FFXIV, so that's normally what I like to talk about when I'm not talking about my dumb fucked up son.

NAME: Wade Wilson
CANON: Cable & Deadpool
JOURNAL: ishotyouuu
POWER: Self-regeneration
JOB: Wade currently works at Red Wings as a bouncer and also frequents the fighting rings for a little extra spending cash. Still looking for something that’s more suited to his skills, though.
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: Rubbing shoulders with the elite, looking good for the cameras, frequenting the bar, getting ready for the next Quarry event
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: I’ve got a few plans, but I’m primarily tossing Wade in the Quarry and seeing what happens. If you want your character to encounter/fight him, be my guest! (I’m not planning on having him killed, but I’m open to that possibility if we plot something out beforehand.)
AREAS OF INTEREST: Building up CR, quick and witty banter, and plot-- whether CR-related plot or otherwise. Just gimme those good good character relations.
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: Wade’s pretty much got a steady shift at Red Wings, so if your character either works there or frequents there as a customer, odds are he’s caught sight of you more than once.
OVERALL GOALS: More CR! More metaplot to get involved in! More shenanigans! More opportunities to be a disaster!
ANYTHING ELSE:

HEY HI time to plot some Wade and Laura nonsense - maybe in the run up to the quarry bomb she lures him away from the danger zone as is her job and then either they can talk, she can knock him out to keep him safe until the bomb goes off or a combo of both?

This might be a nice opportunity for him to have the opinions of a Parliament-hater thrust at him, she'll be highly resentful of him so can maybe end up jogging a deep-set memory using her sound direction power while casually trying to beat him up without actually killing him
