Happy Saturday Larkers! Welcome to the third Meadowlark CR meme. Meadowlark is now on its fifth month and going on its sixth. While a lot of characters have settled in and begun to navigate the world of Meadowlark and its plot, others are just arriving and finding their footing! You're free to use the JOB'S PAGE (please add your character's occupation if you haven't!) and LOCATION PAGE to stir up some ideas for fated meetings, long office lunches, underground trouble, or just stir around the plot juices.

TIMEZONE & TAGGING HABITS: central european / i work full time, though sometimes flexible hours. i try to boomerang esp on network tags, but sometimes (log) stuff can take a little while.

CANON: mcu: agents of shield
CANON POINT: captain america dragged hydra and shield into the light and took them down, coulson is running the new shield, bobbi and some others are actually agents of another new shield that they believe to be the legitimate shield. she's a spy and doesn't know where she fits in, precisely. she's loyal to the idea of protecting people above all else and that'll translate to this place, too.
POWER: emotional manipulation
CHARACTER SUMMARY: bobbi is a spy who excels at emotional manipulation even without her powers and will always put the ideal of being the shield and protecting those who can't protect themselves above all else, including personal relationships. she's currently maintaining a cover as civilian biologist katelin philips. despite lying to everyone, she cares deeply and genuinely.
THREE ASPECTS OF YOUR CHARACTER YOU'D MOST LIKE TO EXPLORE: her lies and manipulation, the fact that she's going a little crazy from lack of progress
WHAT ARE THEY UP TO?: working on getting unsupervised access to a lab so she can run all the blood sample tests she wants!! trying to get a newbie starter kit together!! she's also occasionally boning thor but it's neither exclusive nor a relationship
GOALS: protect everyone, especially those who cannot protect themselves. get home. in that order!
JOB: she's working in r&d at giles bell
ROOMMATES: she's rooming with fitz and daisy @ casa shield
CURRENT HABITS: she goes on runs in the early morning (or evening, now) and does yoga in one of the parks. she works long hours and spends a fair amount of time on the network. she also goes to have a drink at some of the more decent bars every so often and quite enjoys chardonnay
DESIRED CR: any and all, though i'm not great at negative cr. still, it's natural that bobbi would lock horns with people now and again and i'll play it out when it happens, i'd just rather not seek it out unless it'd be ooc not to. bobbi makes a great big sister kind of person. casual flirting and genuine friendships (or both) are a+++

The hilarious part of this is ... Loki is involved with her, and afaik Bobbi is Not a Fan. He throws tantrums, don't worry, Clarke gets it.
She would be happy to reach out to Bobbi if she knew she was getting access.
(Also, obviously "Katelin as Bobbi here.")
Clarke is also a manipulative teenager who will press at someone, so if you want her to catch Bobbi in any inconsistencies or whatever, we can explore that.

ANYWAY bobbi has been working at Giles Bell's R&D and putting in some extra hours and this means she'll have unsupervised access soon! Plus she made the post about blood samples a while back (here + ooc stuff here) so that might be a good place for Clarke to start or a good reason for her to contact Bobbi? slide into her DMs (or if you'd rather backdate on the post that works for me too i'm easy!!)
Bobbi is pROBABLY too good a spy to be caught in inconsistencies herself, but it may be somewhat suspicious that she's living with two openly SHIELD agent-y SHIELD agents, one of whom has at least once deferred to bobbi on the network... but i'd prefer for bobbi not to be too caught out, she's moving toward wanting to tell at least some of the fellow displaced anyway

Clarke will reach out to her and it'll be current - she has a pretty legitimate reason for not being on the ball with stuff (Bellamy vanished :(), so it will make sense. She definitely saw the post, I just personally wasn't with it, haha.

kaldur'ahm | young justice
CANON: young justice
CANON POINT: kaldur was aquaman's sidekick before forming a team together with dick grayson and wally west that grew in size and became the justice league's de facto covert ops team. kaldur lead it for years before passing leadership on to dick grayson. he chose the surface over the sea when he learned that the woman he was in love with was in a relationship with his best friend (he's happy for them). she dies later and then he learns his dad is actually a supervillain and his mentor aquaman has kept this a secret from him —he and nightwing use this as a means to craft a believeable cover for kaldur to go under deep cover, earning the respect of his father by making impossible choices to find out who "the light" is (only the villain of two seasons.... possibly three, who knows). in the process of being undercover, he gets his brain blasted by a former teammate. it's cool, he's fine.
POWER: hydrokinesis
CHARACTER SUMMARY: calm, respectful, gentle, a hero, "you're so brave and quiet i forgot you are suffering", self-sacrificial, will always put the needs of others before his own
THREE ASPECTS OF YOUR CHARACTER YOU'D MOST LIKE TO EXPLORE: what his calm nature can mean for others, the number of things he's given up in his life putting the needs of others before his own and the issues resulting from that, his atlantean nature and obvious racial traits fitting into the setting
WHAT ARE THEY UP TO?: he just arrived!
GOALS: protect everyone, find a way home, make sure the bat boys don't implode?? he won't manage but he'll try
JOB: none yet (i'm open to suggestions!!)
ROOMMATES: he might end up in one of the bat boys' tubs
CURRENT HABITS: he's just hanging out at the safehouse. he trains a fair amount, takes as long showers as are allowed and for the rest reads a lot and watches holodocumentaries
DESIRED CR: ANY AND ALL (with the same caveat as for bobbi re negative cr)!! i would love for him to be the rock others rely on, but i also want the kind of cr that will get him to reveal some of his issues as well. shippiness would be wonderful but i also want it to happen organically so who knows??? i am just Thirsty

CANON POINT: picture a child assassin turned warrior princess turned space mercenary turned saviour of the universe from alien parasites that take away free will and make humans into virtually indestructible puppets and you've got dutch. she's from an episode that finally gives her all the pieces of her own past and a family, but also one that hits home to her just how damaged she is and how unhappy... but there's no room for happiness in war
POWER: shadow manipulation
CHARACTER SUMMARY: half-feral beauty, angry a lot, great at fighting but not great at emotion, uses alcohol and sex as coping mechanisms, loves one (1) johnny jaqobis, platonic soulmate and work husband of hers!!
