CANON POINT: marvel’s agent carter S02E08. basically the mad scientist/famous movie star whitney frost has detonated an atomic bomb in the desert that’s torn open a rift in space and time so she can absorb some all-powerful alien space goop and peggy and her team are too late to stop her. she's just been knocked out by mobsters and captured, it's a rough gig.
POWER: metal mimicry. (as if i could resist the urge to turn peggy carter into a living titanium shield.) at it’s starting point, she can only transform selective parts of her body but since she’s brand new, she hasn’t the foggiest she’s capable of this at all.
CHARACTER SUMMARY: she can do what captain america does backwards and in high heels. an old-fashioned spy from the 1940s full of moxie with a mean right hook and eagle-eyed marksmanship. an unshakeable sense of right and wrong, fiercely loyal, headstrong, and self-assured. she is a woman who came into herself at the height of wwii and will get shit done regardless of who or what is standing in her way if she believes it's for the greater good. doesn’t suffer fools gladly but can be incredibly warm and charismatic; combo reckless hero and mom friend. rules with her head as well as her heart, can "blend in with the glamour and throw down in the gutter," will put herself on the line for others and cross it if necessary. she's got a great sense of humour, a killer sense of fashion, and a proclivity for pastries. a whiskey girl who talks with her mouth full. hasn't had a day off since pearl harbour.

1) trying to find her footing in a foreign future and that balance of who she was and who she could be here both personally and professionally. (team shield is a walking spoiler, thanks.)
2) allowing herself to form meaningful relationships despite her history and her occupation.
3) grappling with her newfound ability and how it was acquired; also the empathy bond as a woman who compartmentalises her life as a rule and learning how to use both as any other tool.
GOALS: dig into the mystery of who took them, how they did it, and why. get her nice and settled in a job that possibly answers these questions. get the lay of the land and eventually the underground, a place to call her own, and a wardrobe she can slay all day and night in. and some goddamn lipstick.
JOB: currently works as clerk at city hall to get a feel for new amsterdam and the world beyond it — and keep an ear to the ground because once a spy, always a spy. aims to work her way into the UN embassy.
ROOMMATES: nope! peggy lived with roommates in the past out of necessity but wants her own place because she values her privacy. (aka why she's moved out of the safehouse and into a motel post-murdergate.)
CURRENT HABITS: fiddling with the neural implant to get the hang of it, reading up on info on the network and the history of the world. exploring the city and its neighbourhoods, sitting in cafes and people watching, eavesdropping. viewing apartments and chatting with landlords. has likely found a boxing gym to blow off necessary steam.

He is CRAU, coming from the game AGOGE, where he was contracted with an organization called COST. He discovered that the war between the two factions, COST and the Regency, was being influenced by the gods. His Master was Noctis (FFXV), and after Noctis left, Achilles made a brief and horrible contract with Hei from DTB.

WHAT ARE THEY UP TO?: At the moment, Achilles has been abandoned by his roommates and is moping around the city trying to keep himself busy/entertained. He is looking for ways to make money so he can buy Noctis things to make him happy.

I have yet to do fighting ring stuff, but I'm in the process of making plans for it!
GOALS: My goal is to have a harem of bad girls/bad boys.
JOB: I plan on having him be a delivery driver. He has no car or bike, so he is delivering on foot.

WHAT ARE THEY UP TO?: Just started fighting in the pit thanks to Jason's help, as he's determined to become independent ASAP and get out of the safehouse. Moving into a new apartment soon. Having casual panic attacks. Interested in and potentially investigating the UN colonies.
GOALS: At this time, just deepen Cain's CR and get him a solid foothold in the setting!
JOB: I'm considering construction as a proper job, outside the fighting pit. He's more of a physical/manual labor type. Might eventually try to graduate that to security guard or something.

CANON POINT: She comes from just after the end of the film, wherein her character has contributed in helping to save the world from terrorist Nazi sympathizers with a nuclear bomb (just your average day at the office) only to learn that she's now being drafted as part of a new secret spy organization that will be known as UNCLE alongside Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin. (None of them seem particularly happy about this new development, btw.)
POWER: Metal Empowerment. Those with this ability are able to increase strength and durability after coming into direct contact with metal; some are able to use it to regenerate their health. Gaby's version of this is less advanced, but essentially she would use it when she's either injured or sick to heal or recover at a slightly faster rate than normal, or at the very least give herself a temporary boost of energy (almost like a shot of caffeine). Right now, she has no idea she's in possession of this ability, but she's definitely noticed some side effects popping up already.

CHARACTER SUMMARY: Tiny, German, good at fixing cars and other mechanically-driven equipment, fledgling spy, former professional ballet dancer.

THREE ASPECTS OF YOUR CHARACTER YOU'D MOST LIKE TO EXPLORE: Her doing mechanic things, helping people fix shit up! Also spygame things because she likes to think she's pretty good at some of it and part of me wants her to get in a little over her head with it! WHAT ARE THEY UP TO?: Mostly just general investigations, meeting new people, keeping her ear to the ground to try and learn more info about this place/others/etc., but I definitely want her to have some legitimate form of employment soon.

In one, he was an empathetic dork who joined SHIELD to help people and learned how to be brave on the job. CHARACTER SUMMARY: Sniper is a highly trained assassin from a very different near-Utopian version of future Earth with bans on both gender and public discussion religion. Their family has been responsible for keeping world peace through calculated assassinations for generations. They're idealistic but very cunning and HIGHLY driven, used to maneuvering high-level world politics. Very energetic, outgoing (they are a jock), and will be actively curious about people—Mostly so they can get a feel for everyone's talents and capacities. They're coming out of some chaotic, world-changing events and accordingly are kind of high strung right now.

1) Their ability to relate with and build relationships with new people. Sniper's good at being likeabe but they tend to keep their own emotional intimacy off the table because they're so hyper-focused on goals.
2) Their identity away from their own world and duty which has totally defined them up to this point.
3) How far they're willing to go to secure a way home.

WHAT ARE THEY UP TO?: Presently, Sniper is volunteering with the community of persons displaced by the kaiju attack and doing VR fencing. They threw down a lot of hustle at the Insomniac's Ball and they're waiting to see if that pays off.
GOALS: Sniper's ultimate goal is to return home, and they are pursuing that by pursuing the mystery of who's behind their kidnapping. In the mean time they're focused on money and influence. No plans to join Morningstar but they sympathize with the group.
JOB: They work in a brothel! It's a brothel that specializes in roleplay/costumes.
ROOMMATES: Right now they live alone. OOCly and ICly they could get a roommate, but it would have to be someone they trust.
CURRENT HABITS: Sniper goes running down by the river every day for at least an hour. They are a regular on the VR fencing scene.
DESIRED CR: Buddies who love to do a violence, idealistic people, UNidealistic people. People who need direction cause BOY do they love pointing a loaded gun. Sniper's very very driven and hardcore ride or die and they are drawn to others who are similarly driven, people who want to change the world, and also people who aren't human. CHARACTER SUMMARY: Keith is an orphaned "emo" loner who was always looking for a place to belong, and Shiro initially gave that to him when he was recruited to the Galaxy Garrison to be a pilot. He's gone through a lot of losses and has ended up not developing the best social skills in the process, but he wants nothing more than to do right and be a hero (though he wouldn't articulate it that way). The thing is, he's prickly, bad at people, and sometimes quick to anger. He's also kind of a badass space ninja half-alien guy. He's recently taken up the helm of leading Team Voltron. So: he's from near the end of the series. He's gone through some stuff. And now he has to keep himself on the right track without his team.

WHAT ARE THEY UP TO?: Keith is helping Shiro get settled in, while trying to figure out a way for everyone to work as a unit because that's what he sees everyone as (divorced from Morningstar, which is a separate thing altogether). I'm slowly moving him toward wanting to become a Morningstar agent ICly.
GOALS: Missions. I want him to put together a task force to go around the city and do some good, either humanitarian wise or otherwise. I also intend to throw him into the plot with setting up a new safehouse, since Markus suggested it on his post.
JOB:: He's a taxi driver.

CANON: The 100
CANON POINT: 5x1, right before she hears Madi. Clarke has been through a lot at this point. She's killed one love interest and had another die from a bullet meant for her. She's tried to save her people from the second nuclear apocalypse, only to fail to save more than 1300 people in the process. She's tried to strongarm people into doing the right thing by disrespecting their religion. She's gotten people killed, and tortured, and done desperate and stupid things. And most importantly, after all of this, she seemingly sacrifices herself to get her friends up into space (where it's safe), only to surprisingly live. She spends the next two months traveling for a way to live, and comes across a valley that was seemingly untouched by the radiation. She's been alone.
POWER: Life steal.
CHARACTER SUMMARY: Clarke is deceptive in how she comes across. She's stiff and uptight, albeit someone who's willing to do what good she has to do and help people with medical concerns. However, she's unlike her mother (an actual trained doctor); Clarke is capable of some very destructive things and is very willing to commit some really atrocious acts for what she perceives to be the greater good. She believes she has to carry the burden of these actions so the people she cares about don't have to, but sometimes that means she's a touch too ruthless. Or very ruthless. Really, Clarke is like a blunt force that's willing to knock down anything along the way. She's known as "Wanheda" back home, which means "The Commander of Death." It's appropriately edgy and also accurate. That said, she's also a teenager who could have been more normal.

THREE ASPECTS OF YOUR CHARACTER YOU'D MOST LIKE TO EXPLORE: Her ability to inspire others and drag all their shit onto her shoulders, her ruthlessness (this will always be the case), and dealing with how her decisions back home don't have a place here.
WHAT ARE THEY UP TO?: Clarke has a job at the hospital, which hasn't mattered yet because the only plot where it would have involved … my other character. But we'll see! She is angling toward taking up a role where she's more responsible for medical care of everyone, almost out of impatient necessity. She's also checking in on people and trying to drive them toward answers behind the scenes.
GOALS: To force her to be more physically active rather than the puppet master/commander role that she's currently playing. I loved her getting to point a gun at Markus, and I want more stuff like that!
JOB: Receptionist at one of the hospitals.
ROOMMATES: She may need a roommate in the future—I'll make an IC post with her asking for one.
CURRENT HABITS: Being a busy body. She's gotten a job, but she's also investigating and theorizing what's going on. She's trying to keep people grounded so they don't spiral into wild theorizing that may not keep them on the right track.
DESIRED CR: People to have friction with, people to show Clarke a different style of life away from war and dystopian misery (so they'd have to realize she needs that), people who help her have fun. In turn, Clarke is good for pushing against someone, angering them for not giving up, and generally being That Type who's able to grab people and force them to be involved with whatever. She's a lot like Fitz this way, in that they've been secretly been doing the same thing since day one. Though with Clarke, she's a go-getter, so "everything" really does apply here.

CHARACTER SUMMARY: Injustice is a take on the DC universe wherein nobody is actually good at dealing with their feelings and instead triple down on their bad choices and decisions in order to cope. In this universe, the Joker tricked Superman into killing his wife and unborn child and set off a nuclear bomb in Metropolis. Doing so changed the face of vigilante crimefighting forever as Superman decided leinency could not longer be allowed.

Damian is the son of Bruce Wayne, the Batman, and he agreed with Superman's sentiment. This initial agreement lead to a rift between Damian and his father which was deepened though after Bruce blamed Damian for Dick Grayson's accidental death (and apparently passed it off as intentional to anyone who would listen, as a lot of Bruce's allies), Damian was adopted by the grieving Superman and became heavily indoctrinated into Clark's new way of seeing the world.

Damian is a mess, frankly speaking. He hates himself and he carries a massive amount of guilt in him for pretty much everything that's gone wrong in his world. He copes with sarcasm and a violent temper that leads him prone to lashing out and keeping people at arm's length. The only thing he's comfortable dealing with is fighting and war. If people are persistent enough they can get past his walls, but there's no guarantee he won't throw them out for a perceived slight.

As of right now, an alternate version of his father has entered the game and Damian is rapidly spiraling out of control. There is ample warning for abuse in Damian's backstory concerning both his mother and his father, and Damian actively resents him for it.

-> Getting to the core of why he thinks he's a terrible person and maybe moving past that.

OOCly, BUCKLE UP BUCKAROOS: I've been playing Damian's character arc completely by ear here. He could either become WAY BETTER than he is and smarten up and stop shoving people away and lashing out, or he could become WAY WORSE and double down on it. Because that's just the Injustice way. I have no concrete plans. I'm open to any and every idea and CR, except whatever would be super out of character. You want to try to manipulate him to be bad? Convert to his way of thinking? Come at me. You want to try to yank him out of this downward spiral? Remind him about mercy? Hell yes.

And Gaia demands that Damian get good things and be happy so there's that too.
JOB: He's a prizefighter in illegal fighting rings.

CURRENT HABITS: He wears flame retardant clothing everywhere. He has little control over his powers and with his temper always riding so high, he's prone to abruptly catching fire like the Human Torch. He's using the clothes to mitigate the damage he causes. He honestly probably looks like he's on the verge of heatstroke and could literally get heatstroke.

He also trains regularly in the abandoned warehouse that the Bat family used to live in. He'll take people there to help train them if they really want to let loose with their powers.

CANON POINT: Post-Stormblood story and post red mage job questline, plus El Nysa CRAU!
POWER: Energy creation/manipulation. Basically, he's a colorblind Green Lantern.
CHARACTER SUMMARY: Mentor, sassmaster, serial teaser, and snappy dresser, X’rhun does it all! Basically, X’rhun is a mage with unnecessarily flashy magic, a cool hat, and a somewhat tragic backstory, only here he is missing the magic and the cool hat both. The tragedy of his past doesn’t really stop him from being good humored and kind, and he’s pretty well-adjusted in spite of all of the shit he’s been through. He’s prone to adopting people who need a good, solid mentor figure in their lives, and sometimes even if they don’t. He’s also extra af.
THREE ASPECTS OF YOUR CHARACTER YOU'D MOST LIKE TO EXPLORE: His idealism, his feelings over his past failures, and having to adjust his mindset from a ye oulde fantasy world to a much more modern one where the rules are very different.
WHAT ARE THEY UP TO?: He only arrived last month, which means that IC it's been like two weeks. He's still trying to find his footing, which includes getting to know the city, getting a job, and finding someplace to live. Also he's doing his very best to play mediator with the XV cast. It's not working so well right now. :weary:
GOALS: Look, I really just want X'rhun to get into the fashion industry. He's got some background there (yes, this is canon) and what better way to justify the way he dresses on the regular?
JOB: Nothing yet. He'll likely work his way to the aforementioned goal by landing a job as a front desk person or something along those lines.
ROOMMATES: He'll be rooming with Ardyn, which may or may not be the worst decision ever, but somebody has to keep an eye on that walking fashion disaster.
CURRENT HABITS: REALLY REALLY HELPFUL. He often goes out of his way to check on others around the safehouse or elsewhere. Other than that, he's still adjusting to the setting so his daily routine changes a lot while he finds his groove.
DESIRED CR: I mean, I hate to say everything, but. Everything. I'd like him to make friends with adults as well as youngins, since he is an adult himself, but is also prone to adopting people. X'rhun is super friendly and lends himself well to positive CR with most kinds of people, but some negative CR would be nice too! Someone who really challenges his way of thinking and doesn't agree with his “help everyone” attitude would be great.

CANON POINT: Before everything becomes a disaster. (Aka ~Chapter 8)
POWER: Fire Boundary! Basically he can isolate flames from being able to interact with other matter. He has no idea about this.
CHARACTER SUMMARY: Sassy royal adviser is not very good at making friends or understanding people and their dumb feelings, but by god he is going to Get Things Done even if it kills him. Especially if it kills him. Obnoxiously questioning and detail oriented, accidentally INTENSE, but also rigorously courteous and polite when dealing with strangers because Protocol and Decorum.

but for reals, he's a dude in his early twenties who was all but hired to look after the prince when he was a six year old and took it INCREDIBLY SERIOUSLY. He's also the Mom Friend of the group to try and convince the rest not to make stupid decisions.

THREE ASPECTS OF YOUR CHARACTER YOU'D MOST LIKE TO EXPLORE: Who he is when he's not serving Noctis, for one. In my network post, some people asked what he 'wanted' to do and it's just such a foreign concept to someone who has had their whole life scripted around another person. Also coming to terms with NOT always having the answers or even being responsible to? And I'd love for his constant insistent curiosity to fuck him up at some point, lol.
WHAT ARE THEY UP TO?: trying desperately to damage control our broken af ffxv cast, tbh.
GOALS: -TAKE CARE OF NOCTIS (that is his constant life goal, tbh, and he feels he has been FUCKING THAT ONE UP since arriving)
-Get some money so they can stop living in a one bedroom apartment with one bed if people are going to keep inviting others to live there. who even invited achilles in. who did this.
-Begin shoving his face into some aspect of New Amsterdam's politics, both because he's comfortable in that sphere and for info. Rey suggested the governor's office, so once he can dress snappily, he might go for that.
JOB: NOTHING RIGHT NOW but i want him to be a flashy bartender and earn them tips and chat up locals to get info, tbh. And possibly explore a job with the governor's office (Admin assistant maybe?) after a little bit.
ROOMMATES: ignis was dragged into Noct and Prompto's one bedroom, which was Fine. and then Achilles got involved. So now there's four dudes shoved into a tiny one bedroom so i guess this is IC af. basically ignis hates it.
CURRENT HABITS: NOT YET, tbh. He does some exploring to try and get to know the city, but mostly just does all his research online. Like he can just google map whatever he wants to find, it's ok.
DESIRED CR: god, anything at all. like him, hate him, troll him mercilessly, get into dumb catfights with him, be a sous chef while he tries to feed all these dumb idiots in their house-- whatever, bros.

NAME: prompto argentum
CANON: final fantasy xv
CANON POINT: pretty early into episode prompto, where he tried to burn off the production code tattooed on his wrist. totally missed on the peak event of his existence. shame.
POWER: focus empowerment. basically, he gets to be wired on caffeine and get a spike of concentration and energy resulting in being better at skillz.
CHARACTER SUMMARY: prompto's a huge technophile so this place is his goddamn dream. he's a bit a lot all over the place with rather loud bursts of energy, but he's also really self-conscious, with a self-esteem that suffers immensely over the smaller things, and anxiety that shows in his trademark fidgeting. anyone who's played the game can vouch that he never actually stops moving. he has belonging issues, as he was born elsewhere and was adopted by parents who were pretty estranged to him, but he's found belonging in his core group of friends and he's always willing to lend a hand where he can. he's pretty nerdy and always, very subtly breaking the fourth wall without actually putting thought into it? but i guess that just means he's very into pop culture. despite his cheery demeanor making friends doesn't come super easy to him, but he does try to be friendly 24/7. he isn't royalty nor was he brought up around royalty, so he's just an average joe who dreams of becoming a photographer, owning his own wheels one day, and loves the heck out of dogs.

· getting to have similar/same level of growth that he had during the latter part of his DLC; acceptance and not being afraid to ~show off~ his barcode tattoo
· learning how to use his power (HE HAS TO SIT STILL FOR LIKE 10+ SECONDS??)
· friendships that call him out on self-destructive tendencies (bottling shit up, shuffling into coward mode, etc)
WHAT ARE THEY UP TO?: currently! a lot of slice of life stuff, keeping fit/jogging, getting to know people and the city, not working up the courage to mention crucial information to bros that could have made things less of a disaster (it was always gonna be a disaster tbh), working his job, taking so many pictures with his neural implant is there a limit to storage lmao uhhhh, trying to avoid people, hating the bugs
GOALS:
· live his best life by taking part into the night life
· prove his worth in fighting, he's always such comic relief
· kind of in the same vein: get into the fight of the sake of fighting, adrenaline, whooo

JOB: currently, he is an apprentice electrical engineer to one NPC i've been calling 'wharton.' they work mainly at the new amsterdam train stations but he goes wherever his sensei goes to take up jobs on the side for. i like to imagine prompto gets stuck inside small passages to fix cables. maybe drugs in the future.
ROOMMATES: officially: noctis, ignis, and achilles. things..happened. roadtrip angst. so... temporarily: gaby and illya.
CURRENT HABITS: right after work, in the early morning, he heads out for a jog and then passes out to sleep the heat away. browsing the net way too much, and playing vidya in his spare time. he usually is where his friends are?? he needs a sense of autonomy lol
DESIRED CR: i welcome anything at all! negative cr, positive cr, i'm happy to play all sorts.
