Happy Saturday Larkers! Welcome to the third Meadowlark CR meme. Meadowlark is now on its fifth month and going on its sixth. While a lot of characters have settled in and begun to navigate the world of Meadowlark and its plot, others are just arriving and finding their footing! NAME: leopold "leo" fitz CANON: agents of shield aka welcome to the roguest mcu cast on dreamwidth CANON POINT: 5x05 Rewind: outta the frying pan and into cryofreeze, prior to SPOILER SPOILER SPOILERS POWER: portal-based teleportation, now human-sized! CHARACTER SUMMARY: Fitz is an engineer / fbi equivalent (ish) who had a no good very bad five years. he's still mostly a scruffy nerd and grumpy grandpa type, the human personification of stress, a bit of a drama queen, and a sarky brit — but he has also lived two lives! In one, he was an empathetic dork who joined SHIELD to help people and learned how to be brave on the job. In the other, he was a HYDRA scientist who experimented on superpowered people and had an evil android girlfriend i guess (blame it on the daddy issues). his default is to lean towards the former, but he’s still reconciling his memories and behaviour in the alternate timeline with his kinder impulses. hit up my hmd if you wanna avoid anything, and it will never come up, babes ♥ THREE ASPECTS OF YOUR CHARACTER YOU'D MOST LIKE TO EXPLORE: 1. Theorising and fake sci-fi sciencing, especially regarding the origins of their powers and creatures 2. Puzzling out who he is vs who he needs to be in this great big multiverse 3. Trying to get that good end and not give in to being nasty ;; WHAT ARE THEY UP TO?: uuuuh team shield (+ kylo ren and marcos) did some murder investigations back in october that hit the network in november! rn i'm busy oocly, so icly he's just trucking along doing tech things, being in a Nerd Gang, and trying not to have a breakdown. his current long-game is nudging people towards different, useful lines of work, so if you need him to say JOIN A GANG! BE A POLICEPERSON! BE OUR EYES ON THE INSIDE! he's ya boi. he builds a lot of gadgets, and while he isn't inclined to form a geek squad, he'd join one if someone else took the lead, so hit me up! GOALS: use his new levelled-up portal powers to help people do something COOL, continue to investigate things, find a new moral compass bc this one is spinning right round baby JOB: formerly a vyonation tech by day and hi-jack nerd gang member by night, now working on moving to pulsar to do some space tech bs ROOMMATES: lives with team shield (bobbi aka "katelin," daisy) CURRENT HABITS: has maybe four free hours a day, which he uses to trawl the network, investigate weird bits and bobs, and build some sick tech. DESIRED CR: anything!! he's a petty b so negative cr is grand. in general, fitz hates to be alone, so he’s desperate for connection. special love for: - Optimistic Heroes to serve as a good example - Fellow ruthless/sketchy types to get into shenanigans with - Tech folks who want to build shit - People who won’t take his know-it-all shite or will call him on his dodgy knowledge of cybernetics/powered people UNDESIRED CR: I’M GOOD WITH IT ALL. Fitz can be rude/judgy/dodgy so negative stuff is super welcome. he's hard mode to romance so i wouldn't bother trying... ANYTHING ELSE: let me love you all
