Happy Saturday Larkers! Welcome to the third Meadowlark CR meme. Meadowlark is now on its fifth month and going on its sixth. While a lot of characters have settled in and begun to navigate the world of Meadowlark and its plot, others are just arriving and finding their footing! You're free to use the JOB'S PAGE (please add your character's occupation if you haven't!) and LOCATION PAGE to stir up some ideas for fated meetings, long office lunches, underground trouble, or just stir around the plot juices.

TIMEZONE & TAGGING HABITS: AST, one hour ahead of EST! I tend to be around pretty often and am down to both boomerang and backtag forever as suits the thread's needs.
INTERESTS: Video games, German heavy metal, cats, rap, British panel shows, malboros (yes)
ANYTHING ELSE:
CANON: FFXV
CANON POINT: Right before leaving for Altissia, so pre-hell.
POWER: Sleep Manipulation, basically meaning right now he has the ability to make others fall asleep through touch and can also control his own need for sleep.
CHARACTER SUMMARY: Noctis is a huge nerd, in all applicable ways. He loves video games, fishing, dogs, cats, astronomy, naps, and living his best life. He's also a prince-turned-king by his father's recent abrupt murder. He's less enthused about this part of his life, currently, but that's the way the cookie crumbles. He's soft-hearted, hesitant, and a little lazy but still reliable and coming into his own by way of necessity.
THREE ASPECTS OF YOUR CHARACTER YOU'D MOST LIKE TO EXPLORE: 1) his leadership potential, 2) new combat opportunities re: sparring or being taught by someone else (mostly hand to hand since his weapons skills are pretty aces), 3) can I just say more chances to make friends who will argue with him, because that's my jam.
WHAT ARE THEY UP TO?: oh lord, so he's just learned a number of highly distressing things from home back to back (warning for FFXV spoilers just in case) including: he's going to die at the hands of Ardyn, who just showed up, his fiancee has been murdered, one of his best friends is going to go blind, the world's going to be enveloped in darkness... it's just generally a bad time. He's dealing with this by throwing himself into his work, currently, and getting through it One Day At a Time.
GOALS: Survive Ardyn, get more swoll, make new friends, become a Real Firefighter.
JOB: Noctis is currently working as a waiter in a fancy vegan restaurant with Markus (bless) and is in training with the New Amsterdam Fire Department.
ROOMMATES: Chocobros+Achilles
CURRENT HABITS: He games way too much in his free time and likes to hang out in parks or on top of buildings, being the somewhat antisocial weirdo that he is. He needs lots of recharging time in general. He needs more hobbies, though!
DESIRED CR: Any and all? Any and all, legit.
UNDESIRED CR: JUST TRY TO SCARE ME
ANYTHING ELSE:
CANON: Resident Evil 6
CANON POINT: Early game! He just got blown out of a helicopter after being chased by the Ustanak.
POWER: Imperceptibility, meaning right now he can turn himself invisible.
CHARACTER SUMMARY: Jake's a wiseass mercenary with a massive chip on both shoulders and major daddy issues. He hides this behind an extremely cavalier facade and thuggish appearance, loving the sound of his own voice a little too much.
THREE ASPECTS OF YOUR CHARACTER YOU'D MOST LIKE TO EXPLORE: 1) Jake dealing with morality discussions, 2) ending up with new casual buddies, especially people he can tease relentlessly, 3) flings?
WHAT ARE THEY UP TO?: So he robbed a couple of people on his first day and ended up killing one, and is now in jail. That is what he's up to, that's the whole list.
GOALS: Getting out of jail to commit more crime.
JOB: Definitely interested in aligning him with a criminal syndicate early on, but we'll see!
ROOMMATES: Well he's being banned from the safehouse so this will be relevant very soon. Roommates must be tolerant of the fact that he's murdered someone and has a criminal history. Or just willing to totally ignore it.
CURRENT HABITS: Being interrogated regularly.
DESIRED CR: People who aren't cops.
UNDESIRED CR: Cops.
