Happy March, Larkers! TIme to talk to you all again—though there isn't much that's too different from what we announced earlier today!

So, here we go!

◉ First off, in case you missed it: March Update. This covers AC (it's check-in only for March!), the Metaplot Engagement post for Monday, and Aftermath Power Up notes.

Our big catchup tool is our The Story So far page! No one needs to have this memorized, and hopefully our phrasing makes it easier to CTRL+F exactly what you need! The bullet points should cover the big meat, and it's up to you if you want to click to read further on anything. This will be updated again at the beginning of April!

◉ We also recommend that you check out our JOBS PAGE and LOCATION PAGE to get the brain moving. As a quick note: everyone can add and create new locations for New Amsterdam (and, eventually, develop other megacities)! We'll always review them and reach out to you if any changes need to be made.

◉ Our monthly calendars are also a place where we do minimal worldbuilding, and it's where the mods leave monthly messages to our playerbase.

◉ The arrival log will be tomorrow! It's going to directly play into some larger metaplot elements while otherwise being low key, acting as a backdrop to the Opening Day for local baseball team, the New Amsterdam Koniki.

JOB: THE NURSE IS IN. $0.05 or whatever inflation has done to the nickel. My girl is gonna want to go to whatever school she's gotta in order to become a nurse and help people (but maybe not as a home health aide)
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: The new girl is real new!
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: so some of this depends on answers to questions in the plot engagement post that I haven't asked yet but I want Marta to help the people! be that through an organized effort, a storefront clinic, whatever.
AREAS OF INTEREST: I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings but off the top of my head I want her to teach people to do some basic first aid while they're all stuck in the safehouse. would your character be interested? call her a goody two shoes? flee at the idea of a medic? lemme know!
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: I'm super excited to get started with Marta so there's no handwaviness that comes to mind

i'm hella canonblind but glad you tagged me! i doubt he has enough hair to volunteer for braiding BUT the odds are high of him injuring himself by doing something dumb somewhere down the road. everyone needs a medic friend ok.
