Happy March, Larkers! TIme to talk to you all again—though there isn't much that's too different from what we announced earlier today!

So, here we go!

Our big catchup tool is our The Story So far page! No one needs to have this memorized, and hopefully our phrasing makes it easier to CTRL+F exactly what you need! The bullet points should cover the big meat, and it's up to you if you want to click to read further on anything. This will be updated again at the beginning of April!

◉ We also recommend that you check out our JOBS PAGE and LOCATION PAGE to get the brain moving. As a quick note: everyone can add and create new locations for New Amsterdam (and, eventually, develop other megacities)! We'll always review them and reach out to you if any changes need to be made.

◉ Our monthly calendars are also a place where we do minimal worldbuilding, and it's where the mods leave monthly messages to our playerbase.

◉ The arrival log will be tomorrow! It's going to directly play into some larger metaplot elements while otherwise being low key, acting as a backdrop to the Opening Day for local baseball team, the New Amsterdam Koniki.

JOB: This boy works too much: he's a barista, high rise gardener, and works at Red Wings as a fill-in bartender. He loves exhausting himself, it's what he does.
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: Got kidnapped and saw New Rio! Took his drivers test and got his license! Made way too much zucchini bread!
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: I DON'T ACTUALLY HAVE MUCH HERE and I'm kind of feeling out some directions.
AREAS OF INTEREST:

Ren really loves people and is like 100% willing to lend an ear to all of their problems. Since he generally dedicates himself to other people, I'd really like if someone tried to dig into him? He's so bad at it. I'd like to get him talking more about the situation with some of the crazy stuff that happened in his own world before he showed up in New Amsterdam.
He's also got a moral compass that's used for undercutting the establishment, and I'd love to expand a little more on that. Cheris called him punk rock.
Shoving him in Red Wings' kitchen.
More digging into Spinetail, and more trying to get to the source of what, exactly, he died for in Zezura.
He's somewhat interested in AI stuff! Mostly because he's the type that doesn't believe the historical narrative at all and will go to bat to try and challenge that.
Someone come be a really stupid boy with him and do stupid boy things. All he has is Akechi and Akechi's brand of stupid is different than riding a grocery cart into New Amsterdam's cave system.
He's fluffy please pet him.

HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES:

Currently works at a coffee shop in the financial district! He can cater cups of coffee to a person's taste. It's wild.
Speaking of Mr. Too Many Jobs, he's also working at Red Wings as a fill-in bartender, and will happily lend anyone an ear for what they want to complain/be sad about.
There's also some VR gaming! This is how he keeps his shooting skills sharp.
And in his lack of free time he goes to the gym.

OVERALL GOALS:

Find where Judas went. He's also fairly certain that there's OTHER PEOPLE INVOLVED WITH CASSIUS. (Thank you Pax forever.)
There's some information that he got on something called Project Spinetail that's a whole lot of yikes. He's going to be following up with that.
If there's someone controlling them, he wants to find the fuck out. He spent about a year being a pawn for a god and he's decided he's not into being a pawn for anyone.
Low key change the world. Peace.
