Happy March, Larkers! TIme to talk to you all again—though there isn't much that's too different from what we announced earlier today!
So, here we go!
◉ First off, in case you missed it: March Update. This covers AC (it's check-in only for March!), the Metaplot Engagement post for Monday, and Aftermath Power Up notes.
Our big catchup tool is our The Story So far page! No one needs to have this memorized, and hopefully our phrasing makes it easier to CTRL+F exactly what you need! The bullet points should cover the big meat, and it's up to you if you want to click to read further on anything. This will be updated again at the beginning of April!
◉ Check out our Setting Page for any ideas you might need about the world at large!
◉ We also recommend that you check out our JOBS PAGE and LOCATION PAGE to get the brain moving. As a quick note: everyone can add and create new locations for New Amsterdam (and, eventually, develop other megacities)! We'll always review them and reach out to you if any changes need to be made.
◉ Our monthly calendars are also a place where we do minimal worldbuilding, and it's where the mods leave monthly messages to our playerbase.
◉ The arrival log will be tomorrow! It's going to directly play into some larger metaplot elements while otherwise being low key, acting as a backdrop to the Opening Day for local baseball team, the New Amsterdam Koniki.
Marian Hawke

NAME: Marian Hawke (Just Hawke! she says)CANON: Dragon Age
JOURNAL:
POWER: Bloodbending which she is going to figure out really soon and be freaked out :D
JOB: She is currently fighting a lot and offering to do odd heavy lifting jobs around. She might be a mercenary-for-hire soon, for now she's making do.
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH: Hawke just made friends, beat up a lot of people, and otherwise hung out. She's not someone very interested in plot so she's just living her life, adjusting to the world around her.
PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: I may start her working toward mercenary work or something fight-heavy, I'm not sure she'd join a gang since she doesn't trust other people's motives but doing freelancer stuff is her style. She has not been emotionally handling anything so maybe someday that will happen.
AREAS OF INTEREST: I'm pretty open about this and will probably roll with wherever she ends up.
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES: Hawke is EXTREMELY extroverted and friendly. She will talk anyone's ear off. She is drinking in Red Wings pretty regularly and fighting in the rings pretty much constantly. She still lives in the safehouse.
OVERALL GOALS: I'm still working on thinking of goals for her outside of just being her fabulous self.
ANYTHING ELSE: I ALSO HAVE AN OPEN LOG FOR HER HERE that yes I am slow on because I am on hiatus but I am getting to it soon and welcome everyone.

and 2 I just wanted to check and see if you were down with Cassandra recognizing Hawke and also her having died in the fade in Cassandra's world? If this is Too Much I'm absolutely happy to change it so Hawke survives, it's not a big deal at all!

Oh absolutely. Fenris actually is from a world where the Champion is a male mage lol and Hawke is a female warrior so she's like THE FUCK. She did survive the Fade in her world so she'll be like WOW WHAT. In a fun way though. She'll just be relieved Cassandra recognizes her tbh lol.
