Happy March, Larkers! TIme to talk to you all again—though there isn't much that's too different from what we announced earlier today!

So, here we go!

◉ First off, in case you missed it: March Update. This covers AC (it's check-in only for March!), the Metaplot Engagement post for Monday, and Aftermath Power Up notes.

Our big catchup tool is our The Story So far page! No one needs to have this memorized, and hopefully our phrasing makes it easier to CTRL+F exactly what you need! The bullet points should cover the big meat, and it's up to you if you want to click to read further on anything. This will be updated again at the beginning of April!

◉ We also recommend that you check out our JOBS PAGE and LOCATION PAGE to get the brain moving. As a quick note: everyone can add and create new locations for New Amsterdam (and, eventually, develop other megacities)! We'll always review them and reach out to you if any changes need to be made.

◉ Our monthly calendars are also a place where we do minimal worldbuilding, and it's where the mods leave monthly messages to our playerbase.

◉ The arrival log will be tomorrow! It's going to directly play into some larger metaplot elements while otherwise being low key, acting as a backdrop to the Opening Day for local baseball team, the New Amsterdam Koniki.

AREAS OF INTEREST: MMOs, music (kpop and drum&bass mostly), video games, and anime. as i was last month, i'm trying to reduce my canon-blindness by picking up new things mostly by recommendation. i've just finished jojo's bizarre adventure and i've picked up voltron and castlevania. i also plurk a lot about RP and also occasional gripes about RL but mostly here for the fun and plotting!!

POWER: darkness manipulation (basically he can turn into a shadow and it's really limited still!)
JOB: DISGUSTINGLY UNEMPLOYED. exploring his options! he's been suggested a few different things and should probably pick up SOMETHING soon just for the credits and then decide later on what he wants to train in. job CR is very welcome!!
SUMMARY OF LAST MONTH:
  ☆ i fulfilled ac last month but was still kind of sporadic being sick so i didn't accomplish as much as i wanted to
  ☆ more settling in! he is perhaps starting to make some friends????
  ☆ he was in new rio for awhile

PLANS FOR THE NEXT MONTH: i don't have anything really specific right now. mostly wanting to build up more cr! ALL KINDS OF CR.
AREAS OF INTEREST: mostly just wanting him to get involved somewhere. it can honestly be anything! luring him into sketchy things or crime is totally valid. it's still so early in the game for him that i think instead of trying to nail down hard plans i'm just gonna go with the flow for a bit and see what happens.
HANDWAVED CR OPPORTUNITIES:
  ☆ he's been living in the safehouse since he arrived (this arrival wave will be the second wave since the one he showed up in)
  ☆ he's been hitting up the arcades so he can see if he's really good at any of the games (because he really misses making money playing games)
  ☆ oh right he also hoards food in and around his little area where he stays in the safehouse

OVERALL GOALS: making more friends? making some enemies? having an impact somewhere? mostly he's focused on trying to collect relationships and experiences (relationships in this case being more likely friendships but who knows ???). he wants to meet all kinds of people! are you from space, a dog (or in possession of one), or a ninja? he's especially interested! oh, right— also he would like to learn how to fight! PLEASE BOTHER HIM / MAKE FRIENDS WITH HIM.
